The staff are always there, which is a big plus for a woman travelling alone. I enjoy the coffee and cake on the little communal terrace every morning, and how they are ready to answer questions. Most rooms have a balcony with a little table and chairs, and there is service to the rooms daily, so it is very clean. I have stayed at a few places in Larnaca before finding this, and it's my favorite.
One receptionist speaks Romanian (yay!) and another both Russian and Ukrainian, and all of them speak English. So it is easy to communicate with the staff.
This is my third stay at this hotel, out of 5 visits to Larnaca, and there is nothing to complain about with the hotel. The rooms can be a little small, but with a great big bed, and this year my room had a gorgeous view of the ancient Church of St. Lazarus and the square. The only issue is that the cheezy bar with live music on the square in the evening has started putting their musician OUTSIDE and amplified, which is a bit crazy and intrudes on the peace of many establishments and not just the hotels. This is new since last year, they used to be only on the inside at that place and many musicians were pretty good. These ones are good, too, but I'm not in the mood every night and not so loud, please. Hopefully by my next visit a horde of neighboring business owners will have gotten them to stop this intrusion.
Excellent location, right across from the church. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The ladies at the reception are wonderful, extremely kind and always ready to help.

For example, the hotel did not have a hairdryer, which is so basic. In addition, the bathroom ventilation made a lot of noise.

Noise from the street!
The location is perfect for travellers, close to the see, next to cafes and restaurants. Our room was with view on the Cathedral and it was amazing. We have arrived in the morning and early check-in was offered without any additional payment. Thank you for high service! We have spent nice 4 days in Opera.
There was no clothes hook in the bathroom. All the rest is fine!
