Great place to stay with clean and nice facilities.
Pros:

I love the location by the river. It was so clean and nice. The hot tub was great!

Cons:

The parking was not convenient.

Nice hotel in a good location
Pros:

Great location, clean, and friendly staff. Free breakfast was a plus! Parking garage is connected to the hotel and you can enter the hotel directly from any level of the parking garage making it easy to get in/out.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was good!

Cons:

They had the fact that you were gonna pay $20 for parking. It was not obvious on bookings.com that you were paying for parking. They did not put the notice out until the next morning about the cost for parking. Kind of sneaky.

Very nice with convenient location.
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The room was really nice.

Cons:

It looks like the rooms have been remodeled/updated. The hallway carpets were pretty dirty and in tough shape. That needs to be replaced next!

Not a good place for a family
Pros:

The pool was nice for the kids

Cons:

Beds were nor comfortable, front desk person was unhelpful when an issue with the TV was reported. The building overall was pretty run down and seemed like a ton of questionable early 20 year olds piling 2x the number of people into a single room. Loud and not the safest feeling

Overall nice stay, close to eveything Downtown Des Moines has to offer.
Pros:

The location was great, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the view was awesome. Overall was a nice stay.

Cons:

The hallway carpets, elevators and hallway frunishing were a dirty, and well worn.

It was ok, not the best or worst place I’ve stayed. Would expect better from Hampton and for the cost of the room.
Pros:

Lobby was clean and good location. Air worked well in the room.

Cons:

Hallway was grungy looking - stained/dirty floors. Bed in the room was not comfortable. Minimal water pressure when taking a shower. Paying for parking.
