Basic and OK value for money
Pros:

Value for money, buffet breakfast, parking (although tight and limited)

Cons:

The hotel is a little "tired" now (stayed here before) and rooms (ours anyway) need updating and decorating as well us a rethink to layouts with old partially blocked off built in storage etc. Cleaning standard could be better.

A good stay..
Pros:

Having a swimming pool available was really nice, especially for the price..

Cons:

There was no lounge, though the fire plans indicated there was.. The bar was apparently available, though the lights had failed in there and it very much felt like an inconvenience for the staff to actually open it up, so we just played cards in the dining room.. With the room being so hot it would have been nice to sit in a lounge for a few hours..

Inexpensive hotel option a short walk south of Canterbury centre.
Pros:

Nice room, fan provided to cool room. Swimming pool area was clean and nice to use, private showers provided. Don't forget to take your towel down as not provided at the pool.

Cons:

Pillows seemed very hard. No air con, noisy with window open. Couldn't black out the room. Room seemed cramped with the furniture that was in it.

Een fijn kleinschalig hotel met een heerlijk zwembad.
Pros:

Comfortabel, kleinschalig, vriendelijk. schoon zwembad en mooi hofje. fijn ontbijt inbegrepen. een "Faulty Towers" vibe, op een goede manier. De kinderen vermaakten zich heel goed.

Cons:

Weinig plek om je natte handdoeken op te hangen. De afvoer van de douche was traag, maar het personeel heeft dit snel opgelost.

A few days in Canterbury
Pros:

The hotel was small but comfortable. The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The complimentary breakfast was good. The bedroom was very nice.

Cons:

It certainly isnt the ritz. Its ok.

Really nice hotel worth a stay to visit Canterbury. Only a 10 minute walk

Very good for the price
Pros:

The staff were lovely, chatty and kind. The young lad on reception carried my mum’s case upstairs for her. Everyone greeted you warmly and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was a short walk from the centre of Canterbury, ideal for a base. The car park, whilst small was ample during our stay.
It was spotlessly clean. The pool area looked amazing, we didn’t use it ourselves, but could see it was clean.

Cons:

The only downside was breakfast. The buffet cooked breakfast was good and you could ask for fried eggs. The continental was adequate but only offered toast, cereal, pain au chocolat, Greek yoghurt and tinned peaches. Some other fruit would have been nice to have with the yoghurt.

Pros:

Staff were great, breakfast was excellent, little garden for brekky was lovely. And they were kind about keeping our bags before and after check in.

Cons:

Bed comfort was ok, swimming pool out of action.
