Gem of a hotel in the Gower we had a great time there Great location. Dog friendly . Lovely room , great service . Lovely food ,
We had a lovely few days. The location in a quiet spot was just great with easy access to walks and beaches not far away.. We had two rooms with both being spacious and clean with big comfy beds even in the dog friendly room in the annex. Always good to have proper reading lights too. Staff were all lovely, the bar and restaurant was also good and again dog friendly. We were there in december but I can imagine in summer the outside garden and terrace would be brilliant. Breakfast and dinner were good too.
The only thing I would change is the hard chairs in the dog friendly room. The hot water did take a very, very long time to get through in the annex room compared to the room in the main building but when it does there's lots of it.
Large bathroom
Staff not helpful, breakfast timings for a weekend woeful, after day 1 clean towels left on door knob, someone had been in the room, left their water bottle but room not tidied. Breakfast, disappointing, squash not juice, cheap pastries, asked for poached eggs, not a full breakfast but was told that it was difficult for the chef. Called reception for directions as couldn’t find hotel but staff could not explain where it was.
