Good location. Able to walk to local
Pubs in 10 mins. Had our dog and room was fine and spacious for us and our doggie.
Had to wait for someone to come and let us in the main door. There was no instruction on how to check in but saw a box on reception with keys.
Wonderful friendly staff, they run a small hotel so we'll. Food was lovely, room was lovely, a little gem when you can't afford boutique
Very clean, very comfortable and all the team were excellent. Evening meal was very enjoyable.
A second vegetarian option on the menu would be good.
Food was very good, quality and presentation. All staff were very helpful and attentive.
Nothing no complaints at all.
Period room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. As advertised it is great for those with dogs and / or kids
Room was cold on arrival and only warmed up through the night with two mobile oil radiators getting to work.
Main issue is that checkout limit is 10:00 which is too early, especially at weekends. Hotel does offer extension to 11:00 for an extra £15. This seems to be a money making ploy compared to most hotels giving until at least 11:00, usually we stay in a Premier Inn until 12:00!
Lovely hotel with friendly staff and great food

A fabulous boutique hotel. Loved my room and breakfast.
Charming
Clean , friendly, good value
The location was really good! It’s was so close to everywhere you need to visit!
The only downside was the check-in time. We arrived at 11 AM and had already informed the hotel in advance. Although check-in is at 3 PM, it would have been helpful if they allowed us to at least leave our luggage in the room or prepared it earlier as an exception. A bit more flexibility in such situations would really improve the guest experience.
Friendly staff great hotel

Very clean with friendly staff
The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The room was clean and spacious and decorated well. The breakfast was also very tasty.
There could be some lighting outside the hotel when you walk back at night as it's down a small country lane but that's only very minor.
