Lodge room spacious, plenty of seating including bistro set outside. Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom.
Very good quality and choice of breakfast. Good evening meal on the 2/4 nights restaurant open.
Lovely outdoor seating areas but disappointed no geraniums which looked so nice in promotion picture.
Room a bit shabby, toilet seat loose, moved to one side, no plug for sink but staff supplied one when asked the following day.

Charmantes kleines Hotel mit liebevoll ausgestatteten Zimmern in ruhiger Lage. Besonders die Honeymoon Suite war außergewöhnlich. Das Abendessens schmeckte hervorragend und das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend.
Bei dem unglaublichen Abendessen hätte ich vom Frühstück mehr erwartet. Es war okay. Die Parkplatzsituation könnte etwas besser sein. Ansonsten war alles fein.

Spotlessly clean. Room and bathroom very generously sized. Very comfortable and not had everything you need for short stay. Staff were lovely. Parking wasn't a problem. Bar and restaurant onsite good value and good quality.
Garden furniture could do with some TLC but more than enough seating and outdoor space is within the grounds which has a pretty garden with shaded and sun areas.
The staff were lovely and the location was brilliant.
The room was nice and a lovely large bathroom although very dusty. The headboard, telephone and bedside lamps, on top of the mirror and tv hadn't been dusted for a very long time!
Beautiful location next to an old church and woodland. Felt cosily secluded but in good distance to amenities and walking paths. The restaurant on site is very good and we had a lovely meal there. The room was nice with a great big bed.
The welcome could have been better. We were 10min early but it was made very clear that check in was not til 3 (despite what I was told on the phone) I think it’s the small things that make people feel welcome. A friendly hello, a bottle of water in the room, some biscuits, or a slightly later checkout too. Linda was lovely but I think customer care should extend to the whole experience.
