la situation géographique de l'établissement

Cons:

Le personnel est restreint au minimum
On vient de refaire des peintures. On a tout simplement appliqué "une couche de plus", de sorte que les moulures et les boiseries sont pleines de grumaux. On a peint en noir les escaliers et au moins les moulures d'une maison bourgeoise du 18e siècle. Les couloirs et l'entrée n'ont plus aucun charme. J'ai habité cet autel plusieurs fois avant qu'on ne fasse ces interventions. C'était à la fois charmant et chaleureux. Maintenant, c'est une vieille bicoque qu'on a essayé de retaper au plus bas coût. Le résultat est catastrophique.

Le Château de Pierre est assurément un hôtel que nous recommanderons.
Pros:

La chambre était de bonne dimension, belle décoration, et la salle de bain avec équipements au goût du jour.

Cons:

Notre chambre étant située au rez de chaussé, il a été désagréable de se faire réveiller très tard en soirée par l’arrivée des occupants de la chambre au niveau superieur.

Très bon endroit pour visiter la vieille ville à pieds.

La taille de la chambre avec le lavabo dans la chambre et la propreté qui n’était pas au rendez-vous dans les détails (sous le lit notamment avec poussières et lingettes usagées + odeur de cigarette dans la chambre)

Gorgeous place, excellent location.
Pros:

The location was so easy to get to everything we wanted to see. Loved the bottom floor room with garden walk out. The room was beautiful and cozy bed.

Cons:

You could hear people above you and folks running up and down stairs. Wasn’t terrible but hard to ignore. Hotel can not control that, but warning if that bothers you.

The location saves this otherwise so-so hotel.
Pros:

Terrific location.
Neighborhood was great. Beautiful stone and brick buildings. Well maintained and/or perfectly restored. Rooms were tastefully designed, albeit quirky. We were able to park in private lot next door [$30 per night.]

Cons:

Noise from rooms above was an issue. It sounded as if the guests above were repeatedly rearranging the furniture.

Wash basin [sink] was not part of our bathroom, and was located in our bedroom itself. Bathroom was not much larger than a phone booth, although it proved OK. Pillows hard and bed a bit too firm.
