I loved the location of where it’s located

Nothing was clean, no clean bedsheets or towels. Hairs everywhere

Conveniently located near downtown, this hotel was a bit depressing.
Pros:

It was okay. What follows is positive and negative. The manager or owner was polite. He helped me with the coffee machine in the morning. There were homeless people constantly changing their clothes at the dumpster near our room. I got the impression the owner was doing the best he could with the budget he had. There is a lot of traffic noise because the rooms are adjacent to the 101 freeway. Being a Motel 6, your pet is welcome here with no charge or hassle.

Cons:

The air conditioner did not sufficiently cool the room. The property was old and not kept very clean. The bathroom plumbing failed.

Very bad, safety concerns, loud and management billed me twice
Pros:

Location had homeless in and outside, people using and selling drugs and overall didn't feel safe. It's also very loud, next to the freeway. Management billed me twice and refused to refund. Avoid

This motel is a very quiet and safe facility and covenient to downtown and the beaches/fairgrounds
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, the motel in a very convenient location. We've stayed at this motel in the past more than once and we continue to be pleased with the management and the room.

Cons:

Bathroom was moldy. No shampoo. Heater/airconditioner was noisy and difficult to get right. Advertised as 800± feet from beach didn't say that was through the bushes, across the freeway, and over the railroad tracks. We had to drive to nearest beach.

Pros:

Location was great. Front desk person was nice. Quick service. Close to the beach and freeway.

Cons:

The air conditioning had a smell but we tolerated it since we were there only one night. But it worked great. The room was clean.
