Better places for the same price
Pros:

The location and the view from the restaurant. The breakfasts were good.

Cons:

We paid more for a deluxe city view.
It was a more spacious room, but too much noise from the street. The windows were not sound proof so you could hear everything from the street.
The shutters were not working properly so light filtered to the room at night. Also the wind kept moving the loose windows and making noise at night. I tried telling the staff and said
they couldn’t do anything about it. So some paper was put to try to hold the window in place.
If you want to rest, pick a room facing the sea or at the back of the hotel.
We had dinner once and decided that the food was better in other places.

Jammer!!!!!

Het bed zag er heerlijk uit

Cons:

Op verheugd weer naar bijblauw, dat was schrikken . Het mooie balkon/terras met uitzicht over de oceaan is ingebouwd door een hoog hotel met de balkons op het terras, geen privacy . Ook de afzuiger van de keuken /hotel maakte veel geluid . De palmboom op het terras in de plastic cementbak was kapot de aarde lag er om heen wat modder was door de regen. Koelkast vies en zo klein , geen tv. ( persoonlijk niet erg maarstaat nog steeds op de site) bedden zagen er verrukkelijk uit , badkamer ook. Helaas niet uitgeprobeerd , zijn helaas weer weg gegaan en iets anders
gevonden. Zoo jammer , echt balen!!! De dame achter haar labtop begreep dat we weg zijn gegaan , heeft de aanbetaling terug betaald maar te weinig . Jammer dat ze niet ons het hele bedrag heeft terug betaald onder het mom tjaaa dollar koers. Kan je niet echt maken!!!! Wij hebben ons verlies genomen.

Mooi ruim appartement en zeer vriendelijk personeel

Waar de accomodatie zelf niet zo veel aan kan doen, was dat er best veel herrie van buiten kwam. In het ene naastgelegen pand zit horeca die steeds vrij hard de muziek aan had staan. Aan de andere kant een duikschool die elke ochtend in de vroegte de flessen aan het bijvullen was, wat met aardig wat herrie gepaard ging. Schuin tegenover werd flink verbouwd in een pand en op zee waren zuigers bezig zand te verplaatsen. Er was dus de hele dag door herrie, maar niet van BijBlauw zelf. Nu is wat herrie wel normaal in Pietermaai, maar dit was wel wat veel.

Generally a nice hotel with a nice vibe, but felt the room was expensive for what you got.
Pros:

A nice hotel. Restaurant has a lovely setting overlooking the ocean. Basic menu but good food quality. Very spacious bedroom and the highlight was the large balcony. Some of the staff were very friendly, bubbly and active. A short 10-15 min walk to town. Good aircon and fans. Room cleaned daily and towels replaced. Reception staff extremely helpful in booking taxis and excursion, and in general.

Cons:

Room was spacious but basic for the price. No milk provided with coffee capsule. Room located over the kitchen with very noisy staff, so no lie-in after 7.30am and no sleep until later in the evening. Generally a clean room but don't look under the bed. Some bar/waiting staff extremely friendly but others looked as though they had a late night out the evening before and didn't want to be there. All our taxis were late so remember to book for your taxi half hour earlier than you would expect. Hotel quite far from any natural beaches. Hotel pool as advertised, but small and mainly in the shade, next to the bar.

Kurz dafür aber mit einer überragenden aussicht und Privater Sonnenbade möglichkeit

Das Hotel Liegt im Historischen Stadteil Pieter Maier das Zimmer hatte Meerblick, eine Terrasse zum Sonnen, direkter Wasserzung sowie Pool. Unter dem Hotel Befinden sich ein Kaffee mit Meerblick und ein Restaurant. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in geh Reichweite und das Personal war freundlich und Hilfsbereit

Cons:

Wlan Empfang auf der riesigen Terrasse Baulich bedingt und keine Stromversorgung beim sonnen.
