It was better than we expected. We were impressed. We'll think about staying there again.
Pros:

We had dinner Tuesday night. It was excellent.
The good and veg were piping hot.
Breakfast was good, hot, and had hot plates as well

Clean hotel with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good menu choice in the restaurant. and a decent breakfast.

Cons:

Great hotel . I was slightly concerned about the safety of my works van and tools when i saw warning signs. but to be fair the hotel had allocated parking spaces close to reception .You were able to back your van up to fencing . It may be a bit of paranoia as your vehicle isnt safe on a supermarket carpark. It wouldnt put me off staying there again

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

Staff very helpful, polite and friendly nothing to much for them. Our room was classified as compact double but we were surprised at how big it was. The tea making facilities were great and fully stocked to the brim. Clean and comfy room. Meals in the restaurant were very good value for money, good selection and huge servings of food. We will definitely use again.

wow, magnificentand we will be back , a true gem

we had an evening meal and the protions were very generous and thr food was very tasty , i had surf and turf and eton mess and my partner had sirloin steak and apple and cherry bakewell crumble and custard , both these were on the early bird deal which to be ordered before 7.30 pm, the staff were lovely and really helpful , we sat outside after and had a couple of drinks from the bar , thankfully there was a fan in the room which we left on all night being struck with the glorious heatwave weather at the end of may bank holiday , we stayed after visiting the great british food fayre at harewood house , we had a lovely time and will be back next year for sure.
forgot to add , the breakfast was superb and well worth the money , i think at weekends its in the room rate but i think its £10 each in the week , dont think about it because it is well worth it
