Golden Bahía de Tossa & Spa

Big hotel, great pools for kids. Only down side is got charged twice at the bar for coffee. Maybe keep a track of payments.
Would of been nice for the bartender to say that a family member had already paid! Instead of taking my money again. Management seem quite harassed.

What a beautiful hotel! Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with a great team who are friendly and welcoming. We visited as a family, all adults (party of 5) in the last week of October. The facilities are fantastic, indoor/outdoor and rooftop pool.
We were all inclusive and the food was delicious, loads of variety and fresh. The bar was great with a good selection of spirits and beers.
We did a couple of day trips from the bus station round the corner. Girona was pretty, Barcelona was amazing and we did lloret a couple of times. Tossa itself is so beautiful with the old town and little streets full of shops to wander around.

From the moment you arrive with the fresh scent of the lobby to the super clean facilities you can't ask for more. Ice water and crushed ice on two floors to add free for your drinks. The adult only top floor sun deck with panoramic views and plunge pools with comfy padded sun loungers was ideal and so relaxing. One pool is also heated. The hotel has created a very peaceful tranquil space.
The design and layout of the hotel is excellent it never felt crowded we were in the off season but we kept asking the staff how many guests were staying as it never felt crowded. Nearly full apparently but you wouldn't think so. Loads of space.
The food was varied daily with a nice selection from fresh salads, vegetarian options to kids buffet and beyond. Fresh fruit and smoothies, omelettes cooked fresh at breakfast. Fresh bread and pastries.
The staff were all very friendly and very well organized hard working and a real credit to the hotel.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean the bathroom was four piece with non-slip walk in shower. Mini fridge, hair dryer and make up mirror and plenty of wardrobe space with hangers.
The location is perfect the local bus stop is just around the corner to connect with Girona and Barcelona very reasonable return prices. The supermarkets are very local if you want any additional items.
The local drinks in the hotel are very reasonable if you're not all inclusive 2.60 for a local beer. The old town is a short walk around 10 minutes but for those that find it harder you can rent escooters and for the more active ebikes.
The town has a lot of history and we had some great relaxing strolls along the narrow streets shops and restaurants a number of days. There is no litter anywhere.
We had an amazing relaxing stay so a big thank you to the staff we would recommend a visit and a return stay.

Stayed for a week here in october. Amazing hotel in a great location just a short walk from the beach with many restaurants and bars. Hotel spotlessly clean and all staff lovely and friendly and amazing at what they do. Special mention for oscar and omar who cooks the best omelettes. Couldnt fault the food in the hotel great choice and all well cooked. Drinks in hotel all reasonably priced and of good standard especially the cocktails. Room lovely and spacious and clean.
Pools all clean and always able to get a sunbed and also a lovely warm jacuzzi. Overall a near faultless hotel and would definitely recommend and return in the future.

This hotel just gets better each time i go..the food is even better than ladt year, and ive gone every year (except covid) for last 10 years..the hotel is stunning..rooms always clean and comfy..beautiful location..

The rooms are so modern and the housekeeping keep them spotless.
Anastasia at reception amazing and the restaurant manager brilliant, as are all the staff.

Spent a week at this hotel, could not fault anything that the Hotel had to offer.
Food absolutely amazing, equivalent to many 5 star hotels, all facilities fantastic.
Reception staff and cleaning staff superb and could not do enough for you. The Bar staff not so friendly and seemed unable to break a smile. The Hotel was very well run with all facilities both inside and out being kept to a very high standard.
Would highly recommend to all considering a holiday in Tossa De Mar.

Fabulous stay with friends at the Goldon Bahia hotel. Close to the town and a pleasant walk to the beach. Excellent for families. Love the staff.

The place is charming, hence its the 10th time ive visited. The staff are just incredible, they do everything they can to make your stay special. From reception to restaurants and bar staff, they're faultless. The facilities are also great. The animation team are great, as are the spa team. Ana does an excellent massage.
The food is wonderful and the choices are plentiful. There is literally something for everyone.
Ill be back twice next year, in October again with friends for the convention, and ill be bringing my wife in May.

Took a last minute Jet2 holiday from East Midlands! Hotel everything we remembered and wanted, relaxing, excellent food choices, comfortable room, friendly staff, good location for strolls around Tossa. Evening 'entertainment' to suit most tastes...we particularly enjoyed the energetic Michael Jackson Tribute!

Me (50s) and my mum (70s) stayed here for the last week of September. We had been really looking forward to it, having read so many wonderful reviews. I'm delighted to say it lived up to our expectations! We booked directly through the hotel, I joined the Golden rewards club so got a bit of a discount on the price. I also think this secured us a better room as I'd only booked a standard room but we had a fabulous room that was bigger than other rooms on the floor. We were on the 4th floor and had a lovely new bathroom with walk-in shower. The room was lovely, beds very comfortable and it was cleaned every day of our stay.

The hotel is big and every part of it is well kept and spotlessly clean. We found the staff, without exception, to be friendly polite and helpful. The pool areas are lovely with plenty of sunbeds and places to relax and the rooftop terrace is fab. The filtered water machines throughout the hotel is a lovely and welcome touch. The lounge is beautiful.

We went half board and were very impressed with the food both for breakfast and dinner. So much to choose from! It varied day by day too which was great. We had read comments about the food being cold, we both enjoy our food quite hot and we never had an issue with the temperature it was always hot and fresh. It would be nice to be able to have tea/coffee after dinner but this was not an option unless you moved out into the lounge area but aside from that I can't fault the meals. Drinks were very reasonably priced and cocktails were gorgeous!

The old town of Tossa is just a short walk from the hotel with no steep hills and is such a lovely town with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Our only negative experience was with the transfer (from & back to Girona airport) which I booked through the hotel website. Because I'd booked via their website it looked to me as though it was a service offered by the hotel (and I've booked similar with other hotels) but it was actually with MTS Globe and a quick google search will show you how awful they are. When we arrived, the driver was an hour late. When leaving, we confirmed our transfer at reception and were told that the pickup point was a nearby bus stop, not the hotel. I was worried about this because my mum is in her 70s and I didn't want her lugging her suitcase through the streets and also I was concerned that we might go to the wrong place. So, we got a taxi to take us to the bus stop - the reception staff ordered it and told him exactly where we were to go - we were dropped off at the bus stop at 7:35pm and waited for our 8pm transfer. It didn't arrive. When I called at 8:20pm I was told that it had arrived and we must have missed it. There is absolutely no way this could have happened. We had to pay €80 for a taxi to the airport and are now in the process of trying to claim that back from the transfer company. I appreciate it's not actually Golden Hotel's service, however we booked it on their website and this company has a really awful record so they should partner with a different more reliable transfer company otherwise their customers will continue to be let down. Aside from that, we had an absolutely fabulous time and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my family, including our 10 month old, and I’m happy to report it lives up to its outstanding reputation.

Here are my highlights:

1. The cleanliness of the hotel. This really is exceptional. From the dining area to the public facilities, this hotel is quite simply pristine throughout.

2. The buffet. Quite simply, this is a delight at all meal times. Such variety and splendour. A magnificent feast every time you eat.

3. The ambience. I loved the interiors of the hotel. Stylish, calming, and beautifully lit by time of day.

4. The friendliness. Every staff member is kind and helpful. They do a fantastic job to make your stay special.

Thank you to all the team, with a special mention to those that often go unseen such as maintenance, cleaning, and kitchen. I’d also like to thank the Go and Fun team for their high energy and great efforts to entertain everyone.

What a fabulous hotel, and what wonderful friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and the rooms were spotless with really comfy beds.
The only reason I didnt give this hotel 5*'s was due to the very poor air conditioning in the bedroom, but the hotel did provide us with a fan which helped a little.
This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where smoking was limited to a few outside areas, and even the room balconies were non smoking areas and for that reson I wont return.

We booked this hotel between sept 26-30th...we are two adults with two small children (3.5 yrs old & 9 month old). I found the hotel to be very family friendly - there is a kids club that opens up at 10:30am until nighttime (they do however close between 12:15pm-2:30pm). There is a range of different pools on the property... there's a wonderful indoor pool option as well. Lots of sunbed options... this may be due to low season & therefore it wasn't as busy as it is in peak summer months.
We found the all you can eat restaurant to be nothing short of SUPERB. It was absolutely delicious, good quality & lots of variety.
The staff at the hotel are wonderful, friendly & very professional with their customer service. The rooms are beautiful & clean.
I highly recommend this hotel to those considering!

Another excellent stay ( our second at this hotel). The room was big enough, kept very clean and although we had some noisy neighbours, overall sufficiently quiet to sleep. The food is plentiful, extremely varied and of good quality. The facilities are comprehensive with various pools, a small but adequate gym and activities of all sorts during the day ( for those who want to take part). There is a separate show lounge and a large bar area. An added bonus for some was some football matches on a very big screen. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the town.

Absolutely wonderful hotel close to all amenities beautiful town and top all inclusive and clean hotel the staff worked so hard and make our holiday special very friendly and helpful .Check in was brilliant .Spa lovely and food gorgeous.Great entertainment.Me and husband and fantastic week .

This is a lovely hotel the staff are amazing and if you join in the activities you get to meet some lovely people and future friends. The outside evening entertainment is often better than in the main entertainment room and the DJ is far too loud.
