Great place for business trips.
Pros:

Comfortable rooms, well kept for its age, surprisingly quiet and the location is great for those who drives because it has a well lit car park. Some hotel car parks look like film set for Korean horror movies. The health centre downstairs is excellent for those who enjoy a good traditional massage after a long day of meetings.

Cons:

The color scheme of the decor. It is as old as it get. The age shows. As there are more and more newer hotels coming up in Johor Bahru, at some point the newer decor might become more attractive. But Doubletree remains an old time fav.

Wonderful, relaxing short stay.
Pros:

Great staff, comfy clean room with good in-room facilities, food variety at buffet breakfast. Delicious warm welcome cookie.

Cons:

Parking lanes are a bit small/narrow so have to be extra cautious there.

Pleasant stay, clean and super comfortable.
Pros:

The room was pretty clean, we liked the comfort of the bed and pillows. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they have a whatsapp chat catered to whatever you need which i think it was very thoughtful and helpful.

Cons:

Prior to our stay, friends and family was raving about the breakfast buffet. To be honest, selections were pretty extensive however the waiting time for replenishments were really really really slow. I am not going to tell or instruct the hotel on how to do their job because i have no clue at all so these are just my observations and I will definitely stay there again when i visit JB.
