This is NOT a 4 stars hotel, Don't let the advertisement deceive you. The hotel is old, dirty and not well maintained!. if you need to find a place to stay in Jakarta, please look somewhere else. The room is really old and almost all of the amenities were damaged, The bathroom felt like a murder scene. Yes it's cheap, yes it was advertised as a 4 but please stay away if you can

I was delighted when they emailed to reply that my request for king sized bed on high floor. When I checked into my room on 6th floor after midnight, I was so disappointed as the toilet, air-con, switches were so old. The traffic was so loud that I had to request for change of room.

They kindly obliged and put me in room facing the pool. Room was clean and comfortable, but there was no safe and amenities very run down.

As we stayed on Friday till Sunday, the office and eateries at neighboring towers were all closed. They told us there is no food available, so we ate at the restaurant. Food was very bad.

On the last evening, I discovered that just behind the hotel, there were many hawkers at the backlane. Why couldn't they just tell us that honestly despite our asking at concierge and reception over two consecutive night?

First impression when i came into this hotel was, it was very old hotel but located in central place where you can go anywhere easily, beside the hotel there is XXI and Fast food restaurant also coffee shop. the room was big and clean but i needed more lights, I stayed here for 3 days and brought dinner from outside but too bad the room service did not even touch it to be cleaned, the only sign i knew that the room service was in my room because of my bed become neat. the food was nice you will have some options to eat and the taste also fine. i had one unique experience during my stay here, i was awake till 4am and bell doors was rang for severak times, no one was outside and when the last day i wanted to check out, the lift was stop in every floor from 6th to 1st floor but no one was there.

Location is amazing, central, close to malls, cinema, restaurants. General facilities are still good, but the rooms are old and the toilet really disappointing, especially the shower/bath. Average overall.

I was living at deluxe room and the room didn’t get renovation so looked a bit old. The room is comfy but the lightning isn’t really bright, the socket is very little, i only can use 2 socket for lamp and kettle, and another problem is the hot water isn’t hot but it’s warm so it’s a little bit annoying for me, and lastly i think the hotel must give more lightning for outside of the building because at night the building looks scary.
Overall the design is still good but please give renovation to the room. The bed is comfortable, the channel of the tv is so complete, it has big window, etc.

Traveled on business trip and stayed there for 7 nights.
Pros: ****Strategically located in Gatot subroto which is one of the business hub in Jakarta with most of the banks and telcos having offices in the area.
****Great Breakfast options- both English and local varieties
****Decent room size and amenities
****comfortable bed & pillows
Cons: **May be it was a great hotel once upon a time but as of now hotel lacks maintenance
**During my stay i found sauna was out of order and lacks maintenance
* Most disappointing was gym. Considering i am a fitness freak my top priority is Gym & fitness center for any kind of travel. When i reviewed KC Gym online it was exciting and decided to book it. However, after landing at their gym i felt i was cheated- all they had a treadmill, one equipment and few dumbbells. Extremely disappointed. I had confronted their front desk team about such poor gym facility which they acknowledged.
So please upgrade your fitness center and equip it with what you have sown online for marketing purpose.

The hotel is poorly maintained, lights don't work in the room, and sometimes lamps don't even have a switch. AC can't be turned off, and even at hottest temperature room is still freezing. It's a problem because there's no hot water in the shower. The carpets, furniture are disgusting, with stains and the room smells of humidity. The bed, pillow and linens are clean and comfortable. But the ceiling fire detector emits a bright green light that makes falling asleep difficult. To conclude this poor experience the food is under average albeit with a decent buffet breakfast, and don't get your laundry done there. The collar of my shirt was smelling of fried onions after coming back from pressing. I feel sorry for the nice staff who have to endure working in this property, all of them were very polite and pleasant, and eager to help as they could to make the stay better. I highly suggest to avoid this place at all cost!

Stayed here 2 nights. The bed was comfortable, with 2 pillows each which is very important for me because I need to hug something when sleeping hahaha...
The bathroom was clean but shower curtain needs to be replaced.

A 48 years old hotel, was a luxury hotel back at its time.

Pros:
- low occupancy on weekend
- strategic location
- nice hot water and water pressure
- friendly staffs
- check in check out process are fast

Cons:
- worn out old hotel with worn out furnitures and facilities
- quite dark and creepy (especially on 3rd floor, 2nd floor was brighter)
- front office gave me room without bathtub at first, when I'm clearly paid a room with bathtub. Luckily we changed room immediately after complain
- for a 4 stars hotel, food choices during breakfast are too limited and the taste so so

i've got a room in 6th floor, walk along the corridors ; wallpaper need to be replaced, the carpet how old is it ?

in my bathroom, bath tub mode, shower curtain need to be replaced, water shower need to be fixed/replaced, no bathroom mattress provided

except bathroom, room is normal, but i was impressed by room service uniform, suit with tie and so catchy color, that the best room service uniform that i ever saw

FO desk handled smooth and fast, bell boy having good communication skill, room steward also remarkable

breakfast run so well, all FB staff added so quick food availability

although an old building hotel, but they still maintain their main asset very well, human resource

many of them already worked for a long period of services, respect

located in strategic area in jakarta, wide parking area and next to movie theatre

If you are looking for a vintage 80's hotel than this ia your place. This hotel ia the place. This hotel have a medium size ballroom for 600 to 800 people and a spacious room. Located on Gatot Subroto street, it Will help you get to Kuningan Goverment office on no time.

Staffs are absolutely kind and responsive. Room is enough to take a rest and do work. Very good location to visit other company and Ministries.

But the gym facility is supposed to be renovated and invested, the current facilities are too old and out-of-maintenance. Pool is big enough, but it seems it need to be cleaned.

In general, satisfied but some need to improve.

I’ve been all around the world, my office put me two weeks in this terrible hotel, it seems I was the only foreigner. The hotel is the eldest in Jakarta, is big. The bathroom exploded in water coming out and leaking all over the place. They said it was fixed but in fact they had cut off the water. But first and foremost, NOBODY at the front desk spoke any English language every time I asked for laundry service the made a manner with their hands indicating they did not have, to which it was impossible because every morning a guy came to ask if any laundry was needed but not to me because I spoke in English and not Indonesian. The front desk manager could not make a sentence of three words. They asked me to pay with their hands because nobody spoke English. The restaurant room service said: “no have” the only three times I asked for room service because nobody spoke English. Deplorable their service, their manners, everything, it was 5 minutes walking distance from my office and I never felt so miserable and mistreated at “ international hotel” , they should have a sign NO FOREIGNERS WE DONT SPEAK ENGLISH! Horrible experience, the breakfast was oily, fruit was disgusting old fruits, juices are from fake concentrate and I got a bad infection that sent me to doctors. Please DO NOT GO to this hotel. They will make sure your experience will be overwhelmingly bad!!!

I guess this hotel believe that you are not suppose to demand for any standard when it come to free WiFi. Connection speed at open space area is good but the internet connection does not permit you to make a simple WhatsApp call. It is worst when you are trying to use the WiFi in your room. The connection keeps dropping. Thumb down...

The hotel was built on 1971 .. old enough but still very beautiful. Located not so far from semanggi bridge.. a legendary interchange flyover clover leaf look like.. javanese style dominated the decoration of the hotel.. the ball room looks big enough. Seem like thousand of people or guests can attend to congratulate the couple who married there.. the room has wall to wall carpet with soft color .. can ease our emotional tone .. so that we can rest and relax in the middle of crowded city like jakarta.. tennis lawn court and swimming pool was served to maintain your body stay fit and health
