The Nidhra

Overall we had a lovely stay. We had a ground floor room so it took about 3 seconds to walk to the pool :). We loved the pool & the water temperature was lovely & warm. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was basic (no iron) but the bed was really comfortable. My only issues were the bathroom needs a little attention although it was clean. There were two big spiders on the ceiling (I’m scared of spiders) & you could tell they had been there a while. The tap in the sink & the shower head needed descaling, water sprayed everywhere when using either. Hotel doesn’t serve food but there’s a lovely Thai shack/restaurant when you turn right out of the hotel. Walk as if you’re going to the 7/11 at the top of the road & it will be on your left. We went there everyday, they serve amazing food which was also really cheap.

Good value for money, nice clean simple room with a nice pool. A 30 second walk to beach and the best restaurant on the beach ! Staff arnt available at night though so your out of luck if you have a query or need help

Rooms aren't very soundproof, you will hear people right up till 4am. Rooms get damp, there was visible mould on the roof and over the stay I have formed a bad chest cough. This is a very much 2 night stay maximum resort.

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Pool und liegt zu Fuss ca.3 Min. vom Strand und vom 7/11 an der Strasse. Trotzdem würde ich eine Rollermiete (kann man direkt beim Hotel. 250/Tag) empfehlen. Es gibt viel zu entdecken auf der Insel. Ausserdem ist die Auswahl an Restaurant innerhalb von 10 Gehminuten beschränkt und zu den Bars muss man schon ca. eine halbe Stunde Fussmarsch rechnen.
Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut eingerichtet.

Simple room but one of the most comfortable hotel bed I ever sleep in, good shower but rest of the bathroom very poor.
Good location but the wild birds wake us early every day. Pool ok.

Das Hotel ist alles in allem sehr gut. Das Servicepersonal kann englisch, das Essen ist gut und die Zimmer modern. Kleines Manko ist das Badezimmer, was etwas heruntergekommen war. Der Pool ist groß und sehr gepflegt. Der Fährhafen ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und ein Supermarkt (makro) ist auch in 2 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Würde nochmal buchen!

It's a nice hotel in the main town on Ko Phangan - very close to the beach.

Peaceful, very friendly owner and nice service.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly. He recommended cheap and comfort ferry for return to mainland. He even sent us to jetty personally with his own car free of charge on the day of check out. The restaurant behind the hotel recommended by the hotel served nice food with reasonable price. The hotel also provide scooter rental with reasonable price.

Bra hotell, enkelt men fräscht. Betongväggar och tät dörr så man slipper tänka på insekter på rummet. Fräscht badrum, bra dusch med varmvatten. Personalen går ständigt och plockar för att hålla det rent. Efter två dagar förlängde jag med ytterligare 14.

Nice enough hotel, good pool, big room, comfy bed. If you could see the ocean it would be perfect.

Het hotel ligt ongeveer 2 km van de pier. Wij hebben aan de pier een scooter gehuurd en zo naar het hotel gereden en dit is gelegen in de straat rechtover de winkel de Macro. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en het hotel is modern ingericht met mooi zwembad. De WiFi en de airco werken super goed. s'Avonds An je lekker eten in het centrum op de lokale markt.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und hat eine wunderschöne Anlage, die jeden Tag gepflegt wird!
Das hotel ist Familiengeführt und die Familie ist reizend! Jedes Mal ein Hallo, guten Morgen und Tschüss. Es liegt zwar nicht suuuper nah an Thon Sala, aber 7/11, Shops, ein/zwei bars und travelagencies liegen in direkter Fußnähe! Roller kann man auch am hotel ausleihen. Toller Aufenthalt und hotel ist Sehr zu empfehlen!!
