We stayed here for a week and were left disappointed with the stay.
Our room was on the 4th floor and must have been below the 5th floor restaurant as it was so noisy just before 7am til about 10am and the 3pm onwards with trolleys being wheeled, chairs dragged and banging of pots, plates etc. made having a lie in or afternoon nap impossible.
The pool was nice and easy enough to reserve sun beds.
Breakfast was average - good choice but lukewarm. Juices were artificial tasting and coffee poor.
We tried the buffet tea once which was enough - all dishes basically cold and £6.50 for a Pepsi max. We didn’t return and ate out every other night.
Overall we wouldn’t return.
Fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean with friendly staff. A special mention to Valeri and Oleksii on reception who were warm and engaging throughout our stay. We were very lucky to have beautiful 25-30 degrees sunshine all week, which meant we enjoyed time by the pool. The pool area was very clean, the pools themselves were refreshing from the sun with one side heated and one side slightly cooler. We went for half board and were not disappointed by the evening meals. Plenty of options from a themed menu every night, I don't remember seeing so much choice in one place! The room had a sea view and was spacious. The only thing to note is we were on Atico level and the WiFi did not reach the room very well.
We will definitely be back.
A lovely hotel have been several times, with any problems at all, however this visit for our Anniversary was very disspointing, clearly lost its mojo in the culinary department, breakfast was most deffinately the meal of the day although food was not always hot enough, lunch and dinner was terrible very poor choices, if you are a fan of stews and casseroles you will be happy, never hot and frequently empty trays, food show cooked and served on dishes were just about warm and frequently empty, most trays of food were just warm even fries! Deserts just dont bother poor choices, a mouse with a biscuit on top absolutey not, cost is upermost here, not paying over £2275 for a week to be offered meals of this standard in a 4* hotel. Needless to say this hotel has been crossed off our favourite list
Great hotel. Super food. In fact food was amazing. Service was good and the whole resort spotless.
Bit daunting when you arrive as it’s a big hotel and takes time to acquaint yourself with where you are and where to go!
Platinum is a deffo! Pool and bar are lovely up on the sun terrace.
Entertainment is good and daytime activities are good too. Bar service was fast and courteous.
Two things to watch for…. In the Roast restaurant you’ll get charged a surcharge for ordering steak. This I found annoying as we did pay for an upgrade and feel this should include the top steaks.
Be careful on the app that you book the correct sun beds.
We booked by mistake the Bali beds on the sun terrace instead of the platinum and got charged 20euros for a bed that we never sat on. Argued the point with reception but as we want to return ended up paying for it… lesson learnt.
Great hotel.
TUI rep was not around much and not much help. Sat on the TUI bus for almost an hour when we arrived. Get your own taxi. 20-30 euro and you’re there in 20 minutes. The TUI bus takes ages to get around every hotel! Almost missed our transport back to the airport due to being given wrong info! TUI rep I think was there just for show as couldn’t help us with much. Too busy talking to her friend on her phone to help out!
Overall great holiday. Definitely will go back. Great hotel, service and food. TUI need to be on the ball a bit more though!
People would easily get in a pickle for info etc from TUI.
This is a great hotel the staff are very friendly. We were on all inclusive deal
And the food and drinks were good and had nothing to complain about.
Also the system they use for the sun beds is very good as we did not have to fight to get one in the morning. If there was one thing to improve would be the book of the sun bed on the last day of our stay as we had a late flight and would be there most of the day. The late room check out was good as well
Just had to check on the last day. So all in all very good experience and will definitely be going again
PS The weather was very good.
This is a nice hotel, and the staff without exception are friendly and welcoming.
The food is good, though we've stayed in smaller hotels that offer more variety for the 'theme meals' each night. We were FB and the breakfasts were enjoyable (honeycomb was a nice treat). The Roast restaurant is really nice food, once every 4 days, and worth a trip.
There is entertainment every evening which was varied and good, and the waiter drinks service helps you to enjoy yourselves.
The basic rooms are Travelodge standard, though I heard the Platinums were good (as was their separate dining).
The hotel has a lovely view out to sea and of the sunsets every evening, though its sited towards the 'Blackpool' part of the resort.
Overall, decent value for money.
We have just returned from nine nights at this impressive adults only hotel.
The location on Fenabe beach is excellent with an impressive front and a gate straight onto the beach front top level. I did read reviews about lower rooms that look onto the beach front potentially being noisy and people can look straight in, so I requested a higher floor and was delighted with the room.
The hotel is stunning and the pool is on a higher floor with views over the sea. There is a sunbed booking system in the morning which works well, knowing that we had sun beds ready after breakfast, if you didn't book there is an attendant to help you. After 12 noon all sunbeds become available and there are loads around the pool.
Our room was the standard double and very comfortable, Jose cleaned the room to a high standard every day and left a bottle of water.
The food in the buffet was very varied and excellent, as we were staying for 9 nights we went to the a la carte on two evenings which didn't have the widest choice but was calm.
There was evening entertainment in the hotel but we prefer to visit different places so didn't experience this but others said it was good.
There is a premium club with benefits for guests in the most expensive rooms but we didn't qualify so I can't comment.
This was my first time at this hotel and I will definitely book again when returning to Costa Adeje.
Very Overrated and Extremely Disappointing
We booked two Platinum Junior Suites (one for me and one for my mum) and paid at the front desk on arrival. That turned out to be a big mistake.
Our luggage was taken down to the basement level of the hotel via a ridiculously steep ramp. The moment we arrived on that floor we were hit with a strong sewage smell. When we asked reception about it, the only explanation we got was “pump,” and due to the language barrier it was impossible to get a proper answer. Unfortunately, this smell wasn’t a one-off – it happened every single day.
We asked to move rooms but suddenly the hotel was “fully booked.” Conveniently, a different room only became available the day before we were due to leave, which didn’t exactly help our stay.
Communication at reception was very difficult due to poor English, and basic information about the hotel and what was included in the Platinum package was never clearly explained.
The Platinum package supposedly gives you access to the Platinum Club, a rooftop pool, and the Roast Club restaurant. However, ordering food was frustrating because again the language barrier made it difficult. On top of that, bookings are required, which means you’re essentially expected to eat there for both breakfast and dinner.
The Farm Market restaurant was actually much better – more relaxed and buffet-style so you can come and go when you want.
The location is great, right next to the beach, which is probably the hotel’s biggest positive. Evening entertainment was mostly okay, although the circus show is definitely one to avoid.
Activities like yoga, Pilates, and archery are available and were enjoyable, although a bit slow-paced. The hotel is adults only, which some people will like.
One positive worth mentioning: our room was cleaned daily and the maid was fantastic.
However, the noise levels were unbelievable. The fun club and beach restaurant create constant loud music and banging. At times it honestly sounded like there was a drummer in the room with us. My mum’s room was even closer and she barely slept the whole holiday.
If you want a drink, be prepared to stand in a long queue at the bar.
The pools are nice, but nothing special.
We booked a massage before travelling, which I highly recommend doing because it was half the price compared with booking once you arrive at the hotel.
After travelling, we arrived hungry and tired and it took a long time before anyone could even tell us where to get food. Eventually we were sent to the outside bar – where the oven was broken – so our only option was two boxed tuna salads. Not exactly the welcome you expect from a so-called Platinum experience.
Overall, this hotel is very overrated and nowhere near the luxury experience it advertises. Between the sewage smell, the noise, poor communication, and lack of customer care, this stay was extremely disappointing.
Would not return and would not recommend.
Tho she’s been our 5th visit to this amazing hotel. It’s a very weird feeling walking back into the hotel after being away for a year. The best analogy would be that you have been on a day trip somewhere and just returned.
Our room A109 was fantastic and I can’t find any faults apart from one, and that is the early evening entertainment was always a pleasure to listen to before the main event. Why has this part been scrapped in favour of bingo?
Our experience of the food in the food market has no faults and I must praise the staff for their dedicated professionalism, plus the best roast turkey I have ever eaten. Honestly it melted in your mouth. Great food, great rooms, great staff and delightful hotel.
Absolutely amazing, fantastic hotel, staff are brilliant, whole place is spotlessly clean, great selection of food.
Best holiday ever, will definitely be back next year. Paradise.
Unfortunately the airport wasn’t so great, nearly two hours to get through.
The hotel is well situated and well appointed, the roast restaurant was excellent and the food far superior than the main restaurant. The food in the main restaurant was plentiful but far too many choices and was only barely warm and not piping hot. There should be less choice, but better quality and more efficient food warmers to keep the food hot. Ensure the safe is used in the room as my wife’s purse mysteriously disappeared.
Brilliant hotel , its so clean ! Staff are really attentive and so friendly. The gym is great. The food is the best thing. You have got to check this hotel out!
Very hard to fault this hotel.
As soon as you walk in the grand entrance, everything is beautiful.
The pool area is rrally nice, sun bed booking system on the app.
We were bed and breakfast, and the breakfast is superb, every option imaginable.
Great location, with a private gate out onto the sea front promenade.
Lovely staff.
We had a standard double room, I just asked for a low room due to fear of heights and got exactly what we wanted.
Only slight negatives, towels at the pool only avaliable for change at lunchtime.
And no real evening entertainment which I guess would be good if you're all inclusive.
But highly recommended hotel
This is our 9th year of visiting this lovely hotel . Its beautiful location. You are welcomed when you arrive and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Over the years we have had many rooms, spacious and beds are so comfy we are not in the room alot so much to do. We love the booking system of sun beds so easier to do on the app. We love the buffet style of eating so many choices . Over the years Adeje us changing a little but I hope the Guayarmina never does. See you again soon we hope
Our third visit to lovely hotel, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds are really comfortable and the food is delicious.
I am trying to rent a Mobility Scooter for 5 days, days 2 - 6 of 7 day holiday in June 2026. The Guayarmina Princess Hotel I've booked is saying that the mobility scooter must be parked outside the hotel, and they will charge 3 Euros a day to use their electricity to re charge the battery. Has anyone got a recommendation for a reliable company that will deliver a single seater four wheel scooter to the hotel?
Arrived very late last night due to flight delay. The had requested a quiet room via TUI and I had also emailed the hotel direct. What did we get room 1019 by the promenade! Customer service on arrival was very poor. We were given a map to find our room and nobody to help with luggage. No explanation how to get the app I had read about for booking subbed or restaurants! Paid just under £6000 for two weeks platinum junior suite and all we can see is a wooden fence and people walking by. Asked about a quiet room, was offered level 2 still on the prom or level 3 (available on the 5th March). No welcome drink. So far very disappointed let’s hope our experience of this grand looking hotel improves!
Spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel right next to the seas and promenade. Busy place but good access to facilities. Buffet meals, breakfasts good but evening meals variable. Lots of selection but quite a bit of what was served was tasteless. Needs sampling and seasoning prior to serving. Fish exceptionally good. Our last night, very little to offer our tastes. À la carte in the Roast was not appreciatively different than the buffet, except in quantities so wouldn’t bother upgrading. Puddings synthetic and sickly sweet in the main. Have to pay for water with food. So noisy at nights and we had to get air plugs as entertainment went on til 11.45! Not sure the entertainment actually aligned to the average age group in the hotel.
The location was great giving lots of places to walk. The service in the bars and restaurants were generally good. Being able to book a subbed was a great idea. However booking breakfast etc was although understandable a bit restrictive and a couple of times the specials had run out. Given the location on the promenade it was surprisingly quiet. Although it was February. The view from my room (2028) wasn’t that good. I was opposite the back entrance and dustbins. I would also advise asking for the third floor so you’re not level with the street
From checking in (Ricardo) was so helpful and welcoming , plus the little appetizer was very nice , we had 2 junior suites both of which were perfect.
The atmosphere at the hotel is again welcoming, all staff are excellent nice greetings, smiles, nothing is to trouble for them , bar staff work really hard , pool and sunbathing areas very clean , bed reservations worked perfectly well, along with dining reservations making sure you got times to suit your requirements
Entertainment was really good every evening.
Location is good , directly on sea front , plus rear exit at hotel directly on walkway
All in all it was a lovely holiday so much so already booked next year
Would highly recommend
