Superb
Pros:

First time for us to Tenerife, so took advice from the Tui shop in town.
We wanted adult only and not too lively.
The Guayarmina is a lovely hotel, the rooms spacious and well equipped, tea and coffee, small fridge, and each day a complimentary bottle of water.
The hotel is right on the beach and views from the outdoor pool area lovely out to sea and Adeje.
Sunbeds have to be booked, but easy to do via hotel app or screens in lobby.
We stayed half board.
Breakfast and dinner is help yourself to an incredibly well stocked, and plenty of choice buffet,,, we both ate very well whilst away!
There's many shops, bars, restaurants along the front selling just about everything.
The beach is black sand, and the day we went, it was very hot, so it felt like your feet were burning to get into the sea, so we preferred the hotel pool.
There were also busses running, but we didn't use any.
All the staff at the hotel were always very polite and pleasant, and the hotel was spotless everywhere.

Great spot.
Pros:

We stayed at the Guayarmine Princess in May 2025. For us it's a great time of year. Weather in Costa Adeje is beautiful but not too hot. The hotel was beautiful and location was excellent. Very clean and modern. Rooms, again, clean modern and adequate. We stayed half -board and the food was good. Breakfast was you standard fayre and evening meals were good but not outstanding. One gripe I has was that you were made to pay for, what was basically tap water. There was no other option other than fizzy drinks or alcohol. Overal, a very nice place and I would definitley stay there again.

A Pleasure in every way.
Pros:

Great Hotel, excellent location, great atmosphere, immaculate throughout, room was spacious with good view, reasonable value, good nights sleep as no noise through the night and entertainment and amenities were of a very high standard. So good we wish we'd gone all inclusive as we didn't leave the hotel as much as we anticipated. Defo be back!!

Definitely not 4 star, book elsewhere
Pros:

This hotel is definitely not the 4 star advertised. We spoke to a lot of people who return year after year and they all said the same thing, that standards have dropped and they would not be returning. We stayed in a side sea view suite with Platinum advantages. Very disappointed that a lot of the premium drinks and cocktails were extra charge, never had this before in any all inclusive. The buffet food was limited and luke warm at lunch time. We didn't want to use the buffet but due to the storm even on dry days when people were sunbathing they wouldn't open the outside bars to have drinks or snacks. We were using the inside bar which ended up resembling a care home for the week !!! The 1988 bar opened once during the whole week, using the storm as an excuse. We couldn't use our balconies as they were flooding. Roofs were leaking and there were mats left all week with no repairs to the ceilings. One evening i slipped on the wet floor, spraining my ankle which is still sore 2 weeks later. There were just wet signs everywhere and nothing sorted. I asked the hotel about the bars and put in an official complaint. They just quoted the storm. All the bars on the sea front were open and functioning so why not a 4 star hotel ?? I have been to a lot of good quality all inclusive and this falls short my a long mile.. For the money a paid i would have expected much more. I'm sure my reply will be they will take it on board.....but nothing will be done

Fabulous hotel
Pros:

Just returned from a solo trip. Fab hotel, food, service, staff especially. One of the best buffets I've had in Europe, plenty of choice. Drinks really good price. Always entertainment in the evening. Pool area lovely. Only negative thing I'd say is the whole sunbed booking system, there are people who have the same one every single day which is a bit petty at times. No chance for others. I never had trouble finding one but maybe take a few more off the system so they're not bookable by the same people. Notwithstanding that highly recommend this hotel. Well done to the staff there for being so courteous.

Not a 4 star by any means
Pros:

At the check in at the hotel, we were now informed that it was passed dinner service and in 1.5hours we could collect a picnic which was totally inedible. In general in the hotel the food was awful, I am a celiac and nothing was labelled at the buffet on what had wheat in or not except the desserts. In addition the labels invariably did not correspond to what it was near. I was ill most days as I could not point out what had or did not have wheat in. The food was more often than not cold and of poor quality. There was no Gluten Free Options until our 9th day, when hey presto there were two desserts labelled Gluten Free.
The specialty restaurant - The Roast, well that was a joke, when I enquired what the 'Special Meat Of The Day' was I was told a Gourmet burger! I therefore had to pay 12.50euros for a steak.
Due to the rain every corridor had buckets everywhere which overflowed more times than not. The lift nearest to our room was out of order a lot and kept stopping about 9 inches below the floor which meant you had a step out of the elevator. It was very scary.
What I do not understand is that the platinum club which we could not prebook was an additional 140euros per person per day we were told when I asked if we could upgrade.... but that it was full anyway.
What is very annoying that you have to prebook a sunbed the day before you want to use it. What is that all about? And you have to wait until 12noon to use one if there are none to book!
Would I go again to this hotel again? No I would not, not an enjoyable experience at all.

Was really enjoying the holiday until my items were stolen
Pros:

I was staying in guayarmina hotel from the 27th of March until the 1st of April,
Yesterday 30th of March we left the room approximately 10am from leaving the room to going to jungle park and back to the hotel our room was cleaned by a lady called donis photo attached we got back around 2pm and went to the room I had a real pair of prada sunglasses that cost me €264 euro these aren’t the sunglasses you get on the side of a street they are actually real and have coat a lot money, same with staying in the hotel it’s cost a lot so I expected my hotel room to be cleaned and nothing taken from it the hotel and to stay in it cost me €2530.17 like that is a lot of money so If your paying that much for a hotel you’d expect cleaner not to be misplacing or even taking your stuff, I’m very disappointed I went to reception once I realised they were missing and a lady called Sarah assisted me she said she’d look into it and get back to me I heard nothing so I arrived back this morning to ask her 31st at 1pm she said she hasn’t heard anything from the cleaning company and can only give me a complaint form which I think is very unfair I will not be staying in this hotel again and I will be making sure I review it and tell other people as it’s my own hard earned money that’s paid for this holiday and my own sunglasses and for it to be taken and nothing gone further is unexceptionable

A real gem of a hotel
Pros:

Just back from another great stay at this lovely hotel. Can't fault it at all. Good location and views, beautiful and spotlessly clean . Good food choices, I'm a fussy eater but always found something I liked.
The evening entertainment was very good, some great singers.
The staff are so helpful and friendly, and make you feel welcome.
Good organisation of staff in the bar and restaurant makes it all run pretty smoothly.
Lovely pool area, easy to book sunbeds. Also it's well designed for people who have difficulty moving around .
I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel and hope to be back there again next year

Worst all inclusive hotel.
Pros:

Unfortunately this was the worst all inclusive hotels I've been to. If you wanted the mini bar restocked you had to pay, you had to book sunbeds daily, and the food was average. Trying to get more than 1 drink during lunch/dinner was a nightmare as not all waiters had a scanning device to scan your wrist band for the order.
There was no pool side waiters to order your drinks and also the bar wasnt open on some days.
The hotel its self was clean and tidy, but this is one hotel I wouldnt go back to.

Great Hotel, horrible weather
Pros:

I have never been all inclusive before and still not sure its a good idea. However the hotel was excellent and the food was lovely . Staff were nice too. Sadly we were there during the worst weather in Tenerife in many years and will never return in March again

8th visit with more to come
Pros:

Arrived for our 8th visit, expecting our usual excellent experience, this one ended up differently with my wife breaking her hip on the second night. Not the fault of the hotel, a simple accident I must add. This left me on my own for most of it with my wife in hospital in Santa Cruz.

I just want to say a big thanks to Salem, Eloy and David for looking after me, really helped having people to talk to. Same goes for the reps Jane and Fran who were superb.

Already booked for next March where I hope it will be less eventful!

Relaxing mini-break in the Guayarmina Princess
Pros:

We left Manchester on a cold sleety February morning and were delighted to arrive in Tenerife to be met by a beautiful sunny day. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted warmly by the reception staff who explained everything we may need to know. Our room was spacious and the beds were most comfortable. There was a safe in our room along with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was fully equipped with a super hot shower and our room was serviced daily. There was not a great selection in the mini bar, but this was no concern to us as we had booked all inclusive and didn't wish to spend too long in our room anyway. The Hotel provides a relaxing atmosphere and is very light and airy. There are two glass lifts which travel to each level of the hotel. We ate in the all inclusive buffet with provided a good variety of food to suit all tastes, and their breakfasts were lovely. We did not attend the in house restaurant as on the night we had planned to go my husband was a little unwell, we relaxed in our room and took advantage of the room service, which was an extra but realistic charge to our room bill. The food was plentiful and delivered in a timely manner.
We were advised at check in that sunbeds would have to be reserved via the app the day before. Initially this was something we had not previously had to do but actually proved useful as you can select the location you wish to soak up the rays for the following day. Towels for the sunbeds were provided in our rooms.
As a couple in our mid 50's we noted that we were possible on the younger side of the other visitors, this may be accountable to the fact that it was Feb and not high season.
The daytime pool staff did an excellent job, offering water aerobics and water volleyball daily. Evening entertainment was also available although we chose to take a stroll along the main street most evenings where the hotel is a stone's throw from the bars and restaurants.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night mini break and have booked to return for a longer stay in 2027. This hotel offers a friendly, relaxed vibe where you can relax by the pool or take a drink in the poolside bar. We were extremely lucky with the weather for our February trip, and although dropping cooler of an evening, we did not need much in the way of warm clothes. Beautiful place and location and cant wait to return next year.

Not 5* more like a 3*
Pros:

This hotel looks 5* but believe me it's more like 3* and TUI Are charging 5*prices I came home Friday very disappointed they promised to change my room BUT didn't state what month or year!!!! Never happened One gentleman had a accident on a bike and slept on blood stained sheets for 3 days Reception told his wife we only change the sheets every week. Also a 86 year old lady pored a drink in her room the glass was covered in ants reception told her we will deep clean her room shes still waiting!!!!!!!Rembember this hotel is advertised as a 5* hotel. The fault with this hotel is the Reception area the attitude on the staff from my opinion is you have paid your money and clearly don't show any empathy if you have a query The dining room staff are a credit to the hotel also the cleaning staff waiters and waitresses are first class

Birthday Break
Pros:

Just back from a lovely week at this hotel. Room available on arrival, which was around 1pm. Very spacious accommodation with good air con, super king size bed, lounge area and well appointed bathroom with toiletries provided (room 2006). Very good hand held hair dryer in the bathroom too. The pool area was lovely, very well maintained and even though you are required to book sun beds for your use from 9am the process was very easy both through the interactive boards in the lobby area or through the hotel app which we downloaded on arrival. Any beds not in use after midday were available to anyone without booking. Very easy to log into the WiFi too. All the Staff we encounteted were very attentive throughout the whole hotel and nothing was too much trouble, David at the pool bar was lovely.
We will definitely be back and have no reservations recommending this hotel to family and friends

Loud Rooms and Cold Food
Pros:

We stayed here for a week and were left disappointed with the stay.
Our room was on the 4th floor and must have been below the 5th floor restaurant as it was so noisy just before 7am til about 10am and the 3pm onwards with trolleys being wheeled, chairs dragged and banging of pots, plates etc. made having a lie in or afternoon nap impossible.
The pool was nice and easy enough to reserve sun beds.
Breakfast was average - good choice but lukewarm. Juices were artificial tasting and coffee poor.
We tried the buffet tea once which was enough - all dishes basically cold and £6.50 for a Pepsi max. We didn’t return and ate out every other night.
Overall we wouldn’t return.
