What a delightful holiday , from the room to the staff, polite friendly and efficient. everything was wonderful.This is the most time I have spent in a hotel we are usually a up and out couple but this draws you in you can relax. The wristband idea is genius no forgetting your key or waiting to pay bills. Theapp for your sunbeds etc was good but I can’t imagine everyone navigating this. The hotel is spotlesss every detail is attended to . I love this hotel the only reason it’s not a 5/5 for me is the steps72 in all from pool to front door not for the infirm . Thank you we will be back

Just returned from two glorious weeks at this beautiful hotel our 4th trip here 6th-20th February. It was lovely to meet up with people we had met over the previous years, that's the thing about this hotel people go back again and again. We were met by the lovely reception staff I notice some people say they have had issues here but in our experience all the staff whatever department are polite and courteous, as a whole the hotel is kept beautifully clean this I think will be the third year after the refurbishment. There are two restaurants the main one being the food market which is light and bright , with a wide choice of offerings usually every night has a theme ie Italian, fish, Chinese etc but there will always be something to eat, there are chefs cooking various meats to order, people did say that some of the vegetables were on the cool side and yes I did have some carrots one night that weren't piping hot but if a tray becomes less than a quarter full it is usually changed for fresh, this is our favourite place to eat, one thing I did comment on last year was the orange juice from the machines at breakfast as not being very good coloured water if I'm honest, I'm glad to say this has improved and it is thicker and tastes more like orange juice.if you want a more intimate setting then there is The One restaurant which you can book to visit every 4th day of your visit, here you help yourself to starters and desert but you chose your main meal and it is brought to you. There is a very good booking system for all things at the hotel ie sun beds, activities the restaurant etc which you can do via a dedicated app or on any of the big screens around the hotel, every night there is live entertainment usually a tribute act and on the whole they are good, there is also bingo, dancing and karaoke if you feel brave enough. And last but for my wife and I not least there is a full activities programme during the day put on by the wonderful animation team including excersise classes, rifle and pistol shooting, archery, table tennis, darts, shuffleboard and French boules we do as many as we can it just makes our holiday, this trip we met several of the team but I have to give a special shout out and thanks to one imparticular simply because she was with us most of the time and thats Naomi a lovely young lady who was never without a smile. Looking forward to our next visit.

Suite was fabulous and lovely and quiet with all day sun.

Buffet breakfast was fabulous so was lunch and dinner.

Love this hotel. We have been many times and will continue to do so. However, a couple of niggles this time which I feel need highlighting.

Firstly, on previous visits, a variety of Rituals toiletries were in the room. This time a make not known to me, combined shower gel and shampoo was stuck to the shower wall. Very thin liquid and rubbish for thick hair. There were 2 x small conditioners provided which were also not very good. (And not replaced). We had to go out and buy decent shampoo and conditioner.

I feel when you pay the premium for an Escensia room, this should not be something that is compromised.

Second niggle is the food in the Food Market. It’s ok but nothing exciting about it. It is very poorly labelled and some of it was literally stone cold.

We stayed in an Escensia room with pool view and sunbeds. The terrace was very long and did get the sun most of the day which was good but you found yourself staring at plain white walls. It could have done with some more plants or even a hot tub!! There was enough room for one!

We will return despite the above constructive criticisms! I will just have to remember to bring my own shampoo and conditioner!!
