Rooms are well appointed, staff are all great, spa is lovely, great brunch and close to the tram that takes you to Alto. Favorite place to stay in Montecatini.

Et bra hotell, men som ikke helt lever opp til forventningene om 5 stjerner
Pros:

- Fine omgivelser
- Pent hotell
- God frokost
- Juniorsuite med fin utsikt og komfortable senger
- Hyggelige og hjelpsomme betjeninger, spesielt dama som jobber i frokostsalen

Cons:

- Aircondition er ikke funksjonell. Vinduer må være åpne om natta. Det er mye mygg som kommer inn på rommet. Vi fikk en del myggstikk i løpet av oppholdet.
- Spaet er lite. Det går fint når det er lite folk på hotellet, men til tider blir det overfylt. Små barn tillates adgang, noe som til tider medfører skriking, roping og hopping i massasjebassenget.
- Det er kaffemaskin på rommet, men det blir ikke fylt på med kaffekapsler, selv ikke når man ber om det.
- Hotellet ligger ved en sterkt trafikkert vei. Noe som ødelegger litt av idyllen.

Pros:

La struttura è molto particolare ; contiene pezzi di arredamento e design di vari periodi; c’è una forte attenzione ai particolari e all’esterno con fiori e piante !
Colazione abbondante soprattutto nella parte salata e di elevata qualità ;
stanza grande , pulita , con materasso top e cuscini di vario tipo;
Personale di sala molto disponibile e cortese

Cons:

la piscina della spa è un po’ piccola ( ma per questo periodo che non è di alta stagione può andare bene)
Il fatto che non c’è uno spazio esterno ( limitrofo alla piscina interna ) dove mettere i lettini per prendere il sole .

Fine, but expected more….
Pros:

Generally nice place, but expected more from 5*.
Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of choices, loved fresh juices.

Cons:

Cleanliness- the glasses at breakfast were not very clean, as well as the whole hotel (windows you could not see through when the sun shines through them, rests of food on carpet - not vacuumed even next day).
Spa/ wellness area was disappointing.

Cons:

The bathroom is in the room, no doors/privacy. I was on my own so it's ok, but I wouldn't be comfortable sharing this even with a partner. If this is a concern to you too, ask for a room with a normal bathroom.

Pros:

De kamer was ruim en netjes.

Cons:

Het is zeker geen 5 sterren hotel, misschien ooit geweest maar het hele hotel is rommelig, veel spullen, geen samenhang, geen onderhoud. Bij het ontbijt, zeer zware klassieke muziek die veel te hard staat. De wellness kan je vinden door een soort onderaards stelsel te lopen. De buitenentree van het restaurant is een kapotte houten vloer, onderhoud is er niet of nauwelijks gedaan. Al met al geen 5 sterren ervaring.

It was a warm day..so the room was very warm..
The hotels A/C was not working..which was OK..
But the fact you couldn't use the system just for the fans to circulate the air was not ok..

It's.. ok. Not exceptional.
Pros:

The spa is wonderful - the breakfast is exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helped with breakfast for a very early check out.

Cons:

The room was mediocre. Not terrible, but not up to what I would have expected. AC didn't really work, room was cramped and fairly dated, Coffee station looked more like a motel.. so essentially everything was there, but barely.

Prachtig hotel, mooi gelegen aan rand van het centrum met heerlijk ontbijt, met volop keuze uit ook glutenvrije producten.

Cons:

Vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel liet te wensen over.
