Hotel Gran Canaria Princess - Adults Only

We returned from 10 nights on 13th February.
We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was very clean and our 6th floor room looked out over the area, sea in the distance and pool area on the right.
Can't complain about the room, it was clean and serviced daily. To get the bedding changed, you need to put the notice on requesting this.
Towels were changed as long as you put your used ones in the shower. Perfectly good service.

There was a 2lt bottle of water when we arrived but we purchased bottled water to keep in the fridge to use for drinks and in the kettle. There was also water taps around the hotel to refill.
Public areas were well maintained, pool area was lovely but there is the issue of towels on beds left all day. Plenty of sun loungers but as the pool area was in shade for half the day, it did get cramped on the bright side!
Pool bar was ok, no food available there, just soft drinks and tea/coffee/chocolate.
Out of set restaurant hours you could get toasted sandwiches, fries.
Cake was served in the afternoon in the hut style restaurant outside but nothing is overly advertised and guests have to work it out for themselves!
The restaurant was large and quite loud. But had a quieter area semi-outside which was more comfortable for us.
Food was plentiful, and I think everyone and anyone would find something to eat! Different themes each night including Chinese, Spanish and Mexican.
We were all inclusive but we chose to eat out occasionally just to mix things up as it can get tedious and repetitive.
Drinks served weren't branded and some were a little substandard but definitely drinkable with a mixer. We did order branded drinks at the bar in the evening as I like a Bailey's and the hotel version wasn't great!
All in all, we enjoyed our holiday and liked the hotel.
The area was a bit commercialised and was built in an area specifically for hotels with little traditional Spanish architecture.

We’ve had a really enjoyable stay at Gran Canaria Princess and would happily return.
The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned daily to a very good standard. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the quiet, adults-only atmosphere, which made it very relaxing.
The pool area is excellent, with plenty of sunbeds available and a calm, laid-back vibe. It never felt overcrowded, and the pool bar service was generally efficient and friendly. The spa area was also a nice bonus for unwinding.
Food was very good with a wide choice at breakfast and dinner. There was plenty of variety, fresh options, and something to suit most tastes. The restaurant staff worked hard and kept everything running smoothly even at busy times.
The entertainment was a bit hit and miss — some nights were enjoyable, while others were fairly low-key. Also, although we stayed all inclusive, we did find that some drinks and cocktails were not included, which was a little disappointing and not always made very clear.
All the staff we encountered were polite, helpful, and professional, which really added to the overall experience. The location is convenient — close enough to the Yumbo Centre and promenade, but far enough away to remain peaceful.
Overall, a very good adults-only hotel offering comfort, good value, and a relaxing atmosphere, with just a few minor areas for improvement. We would recommend it and would consider staying again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The room was large with a comfortable bed settee and all the usual amenities. The public areas were pleasant to be in. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the whole area was kept spotlessly clean. We went all inclusive which meant we had to serve drinks ourselves but this was no issue as several places to get drinks and snacks. The food was always of an acceptable standard with several occasions s when it was better than this. Always a reasonable choice. As ever with buffets some of then food could have been slightly hotter but this was no more of an issue here than in many other places we have stayed. Pool towels , wi-fi (quite fast) and safe are all provided free.Only minor negatives were water temperature to both sink and shower could vary quickly between just warm and very hot. Even when we reported this as potentially dangerous nothing appeared to happen. Also not too many sockets in the room so have plenty of adapters if you want to charge devices. Would have no hesitation in returning.

Stunning hotel with perfect staff . so friendly and efficient . Rooms lovely with bottle of water on arrival . Beach towels in room on arrival , can change daily by pool . loads of sunbeds with fixed and mobile parasols , the mobile ones where on wheels which were brilliant . Hotel entertainment quite good . Lifts have a mind of their own , sometimes goes right pass you and sometimes takes you up and down for ages and no one gets in ! , everyone moaned about them . Dining room lovely but layout made it difficult to move if you were sat in a row of three or more , guests had to keep standing to let you pass. breakfast was the best we've had , evening meal was repetitive, exactly same each week , the dessert was same almost nightly with slight change , only hot option was hot fruit every night , would've been nice to have odd english option , all food was cooked beautifully and a carved meat every night , staff again perfect , only reason i wouldn't go back is just for a change of scenery , almost 10 out of 10 , we went yo shenanigans most nights for the quiz and the host was brilliant

Fourth stay going back for a relaxing break each February. Staff are amazing and friendly and the hotel is in a great location. Food is pretty good too and generally a reasonable Choice.

Very good hotel that was very clean and beautiful. For a four-star hotel in the south it was great. It was good that you couldn't reserve a sunbed by the pool early in the morning with your own towel, so you still got a spot by the pool. The saunas were also good. The bus stop was right in front of the hotel and you could go everywhere by bus. We were very satisfied.
