Hotel Gran Canaria Princess - Adults Only

Just come back from a week’s all inclusive at this hotel. It was an easyJet holiday which was a nightmare. Every day building work was being done on the exterior of the hotel which resulted in drilling and banging. The food was never hot and was always cold to the point we ate out every day. Saved all year round to have the holiday from hell. The staff were very rude when we spoke to them about the noise from the work being done and told to get on with it. Avoid the hotel at all costs. I have videos but for some reason it won’t let me upload them. Stay clear at all cost.

La cocina, la comida está realmente buena, variedad de salsas caseras en especial la de champiñones, con carnes y pescados hechos en vivo, ternera, salmón etc, todo tipo de ensaladas siempre una opción de legumbre y verduras. los arroces nada especiales pero buenos también. Especialmente a la cocinera del desayuno, no es obligatorio que los trabajadores te sonrían y te den los buenos días, pero si es de valorar y está cocinera lo hizo los doce días de mi estancia . El todo incluido está muy bien conseguido, varios puntos de bebidas cafés etc.

Gute Lage, schöner Pool, Zimmer sauber mit einem komfortablen Bett und freundliches Personal an der Rezeption.

Unfortunately I would not recommend due to the Jack hammers, around the pool. A large piece of facade missed a sun bather and myself from level 7, resulting in a larger section of the pool being fenced off.
The activity center (archery, pistol and rifle shooting etc) is closed, so too is the dining room terrace.
The hotel managers need to close the hotel to do this large scale renovation, it is not fair on the guests. No way was this a minor disturbance (or words of this manner) as advised by TUI.
Many guests are very unhappy.

The hotel is very pleasant, with friendly, helpful, and professional staff who always make guests feel welcome. The food is varied and of good quality, offering plenty of choices for different tastes. The location is also excellent, as it is convenient both for the beach and for the Yumbo Centre.
Unfortunately, this stay was less enjoyable because of a group of extremely rude and noisy British guests. During the night, they kept shouting in their rooms on the fifth floor, showing no consideration for the people trying to sleep in the neighboring rooms. During the day, they also monopolized the swimming pool by constantly playing ball games, making it difficult for other guests to enjoy the pool.
I believe the hotel staff should intervene more firmly and authoritatively in situations like these to prevent such behavior and ensure that all guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

El hotel es muy agradable, con un personal muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La comida es variada y de buena calidad, con opciones para todos los gustos. Además, la ubicación es excelente, ya que está muy cerca tanto de la playa como del Centro Comercial Yumbo.
Lamentablemente, esta vez la estancia fue menos agradable debido a un grupo de huéspedes británicos extremadamente maleducados y ruidosos. Durante la noche estuvieron gritando en sus habitaciones de la quinta planta sin preocuparse por molestar a quienes intentaban descansar en las habitaciones contiguas. Durante el día, además, monopolizaron la piscina jugando continuamente con una pelota, dificultando que el resto de los huéspedes pudiera disfrutar de ella.
Creo que el personal del hotel debería intervenir de forma más firme y decidida en situaciones como esta para evitar este tipo de comportamientos y garantizar una estancia tranquila y agradable para todos los huéspedes.

We booked our holiday in January, and we were excited for it, especially given how good the trip advisor reviews were about the evening entertainment.

Unfortunately this part of the holiday was a massive letdown. Having spoken to several other guests who were regular guests at the hotel, it has gone down hill massively.

They spoke about how there used to be more acts, better acts, and interaction with the animation staff. Now it was just 1 hour of entertainment and that was it! The ABBA tribute was decent, but some of the other acts were pretty woeful.

It's a shame as it's one of the things that attracted us to the hotel.

Our rooms were decent, and regularly cleaned.

The food was good, without being great. Always something decent to eat but not an amazing selection or anything that was special.

The bar service was quite slow in the evening and some of the staff were pretty miserable, although a couple were really nice. The choice of drinks was a bit limited unless you were paying extra for all inclusive plus, and the cocktails weren't great as they were made from a machine.

The pool area was fine until they started blocking some of it off for renovation work, then it became more cramped.

Overall i would say that this is a decent 3 star, but not a 4 star hotel. We had an enjoyable week at the hotel, but the hotel could be so much better.
