Pros:

Location is excellent. Room size is great, bed was comfortable. Breakfast options are good. So the basics are well covered.

Cons:

Housekeeping almost absent over an 8 day stay. Had to call them multiple times to get the basic ameneties replaced.
Room was not very clean upon arrival.

Pros:

Great stay, got the 2 room suite on the 16th floor.

Breakfast the next morning was one of the best. Karen in the breakfast area was fantastic ! They had shredded chicken breast !!!

Pros:

We’ve stayed here frequently over the years, each time for 3 nights. We always feel at home as soon as we enter, especially as the staff are so friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is ideally located in downtown Halifax and central to restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. What really sets Homewood Suites apart though is the morning breakfast. There’s a huge selection of delicious food made with quality ingredients and what I appreciate is the fact that there’s healthy options available. Karen, who often staffs the dining area; ensures that the buffet station never runs low, is attentive and quick to take away empty plates; even though it’s not expected and her big friendly Nfld. personality is always welcoming and fun.

Amazing
Pros:

I planed a Valentine’s Day getaway with my wife. It was our first night away from the baby together. The staff went above and beyond. Navdeep was amazing. She was super friendly. The room was decorated beautifully. Thank you.

Had a great time.
Pros:

Homewood has always been our home away from home. We always choose to stay at properties belonging to the Hilton group as they have always provided us with the best experience. Hedy from the front desk has been a delight. We have met her a few times now at Homewood and she has been nothing but amazing. Always helpful, good listener and great with kids. We will be visiting again and again and for sure again.

Comfy, affordable, well located.
Pros:

Very large room. It felt like it was my apartment. Super comfortable.

Cons:

I couldn't park on the property and i have to go two streets over. After driving 16 hour in snowstorms, this wasn't something I was too pleased with.

My stay was overall enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast was good

Cons:

House keeping was not regular
No provision of little items for grooming (cotton bud, shaving sticks, etc)
Inadequate information about the facilities available in the hotel at check in for example I was not aware of an evening reception. Only saw it in a post stay survey

We had a great stay. The terrace was awesome.
Pros:

The pillows could definitely be upgraded. The beds were comfortable. The staff could come around a little more to ask if you needed towels or toilet paper but other than that, it was a great stay and the lobby bathrooms should be opened for guests all the time people do have bad stomachs.

The pillows and room cleaning were inconvenient
