We had exceptional customer service at Homewood suites. We were in a suite and it had lots of space and was very quiet! The kitchen has dishes, wine glasses etc which is great for take out meals! Great location to walk downtown. Wonderful hot breakfast with lots of options included. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Halifax.
I liked the free meal, the every other day cleaning
I wished that the garbage bin and the recycling bin was bigger since the cleans come in every other day, the bin gets full fast
We always stay at Homewood Suites when we go to Halifax. The rooms are great and alway exceptional clean. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is always friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was substantial. Room was spacious. It was like an apartment.
Check in took some time. Room I checked in using the Hilton app was not ready when I came in a 3:30. This caused further delays and I was moved into another room. Thankfully it was an upgrade.

Location is excellent. Room size is great, bed was comfortable. Breakfast options are good. So the basics are well covered.
Housekeeping almost absent over an 8 day stay. Had to call them multiple times to get the basic ameneties replaced.

Breakfast the next morning was one of the best. Karen in the breakfast area was fantastic ! They had shredded chicken breast !!!
We’ve stayed here frequently over the years, each time for 3 nights. We always feel at home as soon as we enter, especially as the staff are so friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is ideally located in downtown Halifax and central to restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. What really sets Homewood Suites apart though is the morning breakfast. There’s a huge selection of delicious food made with quality ingredients and what I appreciate is the fact that there’s healthy options available. Karen, who often staffs the dining area; ensures that the buffet station never runs low, is attentive and quick to take away empty plates; even though it’s not expected and her big friendly Nfld. personality is always welcoming and fun.
I planed a Valentine’s Day getaway with my wife. It was our first night away from the baby together. The staff went above and beyond. Navdeep was amazing. She was super friendly. The room was decorated beautifully. Thank you.
Homewood has always been our home away from home. We always choose to stay at properties belonging to the Hilton group as they have always provided us with the best experience. Hedy from the front desk has been a delight. We have met her a few times now at Homewood and she has been nothing but amazing. Always helpful, good listener and great with kids. We will be visiting again and again and for sure again.
