Staff seems to be good but our room was really worn down. TV didn’t work. Furniture not in good repair. AC worked really well.
I only give one star because I’m a fair person. Having a full kitchen and a spacious room is always a plus. The room looked clean upon arrival. I was very excited. The tub had hair in it and not as clean as it should’ve been, but I try to give the benefit of the doubt that my hair falls when cleaning too. I don’t expect housekeeping to wear hairnets, but it’s not a bad idea. A stain on the towel, I guess no big deal. Stains on the counters, wiped with a Clorox wipe. Again, no big deal. Then came time to check the bed. Yes, I did lift up all the sheets because I’m sorry I know better to check for bed bugs before getting settled in. That’s when all the trouble started. The comforter had rips underneath. The mattress “protector” had a stain on it, which I GUESS could’ve been washed and not taken out, but I’m pretty sure that’s what bleach is for, especially since they’re all-white sheets. The mattress itself had what looked like yellow/brown either pee, sweat, or blood stains all in the middle of it and throughout here and there. But that’s what the stained mattress protector is for, right? I understand they can’t throw out mattresses the way you take out the trash, BUT hotels should know better and have waterproof mattress protectors that they can throw out when needed. Even I knew that the minute I purchased my new mattress at home and I’m not running a business. The mattress had what is clearly a big blood stain on the side. That seems like a pretty big exceptional reason to replace the mattress immediately. The pillows had fresh stains on them. And what I mean by fresh is if you touch it, it’ll smear, whatever it was. This is completely unacceptable. All I heard was, “I’ve never seen this before. Idk why you’re having these issues.” Well, neither do I, nor have I seen this before! This isn’t my fault! Before I hear you get what you pay for, there aren’t many great options around here. These photos speak for themselves. After speaking to some friends about it/showing pics and hearing that I’m not being dramatic, I politely asked for another room/for a refund so I could go stay down the street. I was told no, I missed my window to do that. This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and would NEVER recommend anyone to stay here. What a headache and nightmare this has been. To leave your guest uncomfortable, in distress, and now sleep deprived is outrageous.
There was a double booking on the day I was checking in. The manage apologized and even upgraded our room. My mother is a disabled and they found her a stool for shower. The staff were helpful and nice. Highly recommend this hotel.
everything was fresh and clean. I did not eat breakfast there as I ended up having a breakfast meeting with clients but it was clean, quiet and I would recommend.
The lady at the front desk was wonderful! Made it very easy and was very friendly through out the entire stay
Friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable rooms 👌
It was great!!
All of the above was good excellent good place to stay at
I liked the little area where you could by snacks or get coffee.
Very run down facility but clean. Quiet but cannot walk anywhere and your room looks out on a boat shop junk yard if you’re facing south.
Loved all the the staff and the room! I would stay here again...anytime. Thank you!
Clean, full kitchen and bathroom well stocked with supplies.
Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. As a bonus, we saw several friendly stray cats around the hotel, and had a blast feeding them our leftovers. Great amenities. Would stay again.
Our stay here was great!
Firstly, the lady at the desk was kind of rude, and came off a bit passive aggressive. Second, our room wasn’t 100% clean, there were stains on walls that were easily wiped away, hair still on the bathtub and floor of the bathroom and I don’t think they even mop the floors in the room…spilled water on the floor and wiped it to see that a white paper towel turned black. I did like the convenience of the location. The pool was nice. Other parts of the staff was nice. But that was about it. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
Property smelled moldy and older dated. Had to return dirty towels to recieve clean. Wouldn't give clean towels otherwise.
The room was clean but the floors were gritty with sand, but given the area (near beach) its hard to get rid of sand.
Everything was excellent, my family and me had no complaints at all, for sure we will stay there in our next visit.
We truly enjoyed our stay - bed was comfortable and room was very clean
They said the property is undergoing renovations. No problem. However the general lack of upkeep and the terrible smell of the property was concerning. Also, not sure why the lights were off in the hallway leading to the elevator. Very hard to navigate in the dark.
