The villa was great and very spacious. Clean and large bathroom, comfy bed and awesome private pool. Aircon could've been slightly better, but overall it was fantastic
Good location, lovely staff, breakfast was average, room was very dirty... pulled back sheets and there were bugs and stains all through the bed so had to get them replaced, and the ones they replaced them with had stains too. All the pool towels and bath towels had stains on them too. Maybe they need to invest in new sheets and towels?... Shower flooded because drain would always block, and smelt like sewer so had to get fixed multiple times. Kitchen was soooo filthy we weren’t game enough to even touch it... the pool was nice though and staff were really lovely. And had to wear bug spray to bed because the villas doors don’t seal completely and sooo many mosquitoes come in..
Good: location, service, private pool villa, quiet
The hospitality of the staff, property facilities, everything was perfect. Ordered room service very late at night and the food was delicious. Thank you so much.
Fantastic place to chill with the friendliest staff you will ever meet.
La Villais Kamojang was within a 3-5 minute walk to Seminyak square, some really nice restaurants, shopping and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We had a 6 year old so it took a little longer. Staff were extremely polite, friendly and spoke above average english which made it more relaxing. the restaurant at the hotel was on the roof, so the breakfast view was great. The food menu is actually really good which did suprise us as the hotel isn't the most modern we have stayed in in Bali. The Nasi Kampour is the best. My daughter loved the rice even with its spices. I would of purchased it every meal at ($6 AUD)as it was delicious but as i found, so were many other things. The pool was very relaxing and we often had it to ourselves. The swim up bar was quiet and didn't look fancy, but they had every cocktail on the list in the foyer bar which was only 5 meters away so not an issue for us.The toilet in our room leaked and that was annoying, but i didn't complain, so cant complain now about their opportunity to resolve my one and only issue. My son was sick on our second last day and they serviced the room twice for us with fresh sheets and towels etc. (He had not eaten at Kamojang so his illness was not related to the hotel). For the money we paid, we recieved way more bang for our buck than anywhere else we have stayed in Bali previously and found it a stress free holiday as we had only gone because our son had booked schoolies. We usually go in July/August.
Initial impression upon check-in was still pleasant until sleeping in for the first night. The villa was infested with mosquitoes even with everything closed up and room hosed down with insecticide. The incessant bites resulted in bad sleep for the 3 nights. Shower was choked on 2nd day and only cleared the next day. Wifi was down at the end of second day and only resolved on day of checking out. Breakfast area was overcrowded and I think you can imagine what happens from that. Food was decent but that was about it. Have other not so good experiences but I think this suffices. Been to Bali close to 10 times and this is the first time I have something like this to say about an accomodation in Bali.
Good location but dated hotel. Good for on a budget
Dirt on blanket, bed sheet, suspected bed bug also. lots of mosquito
Great friendly staff, owners need to spend a little money to bring back to original state, towels and bed linen WELL past use by date , staff are trying hard to maintain but sadly losing the battle... .. Turn off the pool lights and cabana lights ( on 24/7) and buy some new towels ! Simple maths, tell people about your roof top bar, it's a lost gem in a thriving area that no one knows exists
The buildings and facilities at this complex are run down and old. The bedroom had mould on the ceiling, paint peeling off in every room, the towels were old and had stains on them, day bed mattress and chair in room had stains on them, ceiling in hotel dining room had very bad mould and was peeling off.
Room service was non existent: I asked 3 times on 3 separate days for more tea bags and coffee satchels. They never got delivered. Eventually found their stash and helped myself, rang for some ice and ice bucket one night and was told to come and get it myself as he was not prepared to deliver to room. Housekeeping took 4 used towels one day and only replaced 2 towels. Asked for more towels to be delivered one afternoon and never got them, so went looking and found their supply room and helped myself.
Staff were very friendly but not very helpful, complex is in need of a major update and refurbishment but is in a good location.
We stayed in a villa which was approx. 230m walk to reception.
nice but can do with a bit better lighting in the rooms but then again most of Bali is the same otherwise was quiet nice, water pressure in the shower was poor
Generally very good. Towels were always stained and of a poor quality.
My 7th time in Bali and I've gotta say the villas location was great, peaceful and quite with no construction near by as the villas are at the back, the shopping stores/cafes were around the corner and close enough to walk to the beach clubs.
Next Time I go to Bali I will stay there.
The location was good, the hotel staff amazing, the view on the rooftop bar was good too. The private pool villa was very pretty and just what I was after.
I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, and the mosquito net, and the fact mosquitos were all through the place including the shower.
The hotel on the internet looked great, but once there is was disappointing as the rooms were very dated.
The staff came and cleaned every day but didn't clean very well. We got them to change rooms as we had
"BED BUGS" and ended with red dots all over. Would not stay there again. And the pool bottom went green.
Nice rooms however could have better with attention to detail in regards to cleanliness and trades work (very rough paint & plastering jobs, bad lighting; makes the room feel cheap for what we paid). Staff were lovely and it was in a good location, pretty much walked everywhere from our villa.
After a false start (the room needing a better clean) we had a wonderful time. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the location was perfect.
Great place but desperately needs some renovation. You can tell this was once a very luxurious resort but really dated now
This hotel is still good, but not what it used to be before the change of ownership. The multi story at the front of the hotel has ruined the ambience of the place and taken privacy away from the Villas closest to the reception area. The WiFi is terrible which is frustrating, but we still love the villas. This was our second visit and was not as enjoyable as the first, so I am not sure that we would go back again. The staff are still extremely helpful and excellent as before
