The staff was really helpful and accommodating 💛

The view from our room was breathtaking, we could not get over it 😍

Cons:

We had a spider scare because our chandelier (if that's what that in-room hanging light is called) had a full-blown web that implied the cleaning was at face-value.

The shower floor had a dip (construction issue, I figure) which caused water to stagnate.

Miserable, couldn't wait to get home to have a hkt bath
Pros:

We had two rooms staying for 3 nights,
For all three nights, we were advised by the maintenance man to run the hot shower tap on of full hot for "30 minutes", before the water gets hot, this was not the case, besides the ludicrous waist of water, the water remained a luke to cold water shower.
This remained miserable, as we attended sports functions, and a comfortable bed and hot shower.
Day one we brought this to the attention of the reception who appointed us to room number 102 , where the hot water came out the tap nice and hot.
I myself had a well deserved shower on one occasion but the shlep and cold of going from bottom floor to top was not desirable for the rest of the team,
Especially after me returning to my 4th floor and getting stuck in the lift for a very long time with no phone, am im told, "sorry this was due to elec failure",
When i numerously asked receotion if we can change rooms where we dont experience lift problems and can receive hot water same as that if room 102, I was told sure but at an extra charge.
The water from room 421 came out brown from the bathroom tap, when asked for a jug of clean water for the kettle, I was told sure but we must pay for it.
The rooms and staff and facilities are all pleasant but the treatment and back up plan when something goes wrong or a customer had a ligimtate complaint the treatment is appalling.
I own and run a hotel in the midlands and should my customer complain about something that warrants a splution, i would be proactive.

No hot water, no emergency plan to lift when a customer is caught stuck inside, to reasure the fear that this would bot re acure, hence move them to a lower floor, dirty water from taps on first day.
