Cons:

we were in Bdn as my mother was in hospital. My husbands cell phone would not work in MB. When my mom died I called the hotel and asked them to connect me to our room. They refused to help me even after I explained the circumstances. I didn't know the room number as my husband dropped me at the hospital where I spent the nite. I did not know what room number he was in. You need to check your policies as to me this was unforgiveable. Because i didn't know the room number they would not connect me to the room. My daughter also called and explained everything, and they refused her as well.

Front desk lady was very rude and hard to deal with when my wife went to check in. I have personal experiences with almost every hotel in brandon, amd I have never been questioned about who's name was on the room. My wife was travelling alone, and I had booked the room. There wasn't an option to put someone else's name under it. Like I mentioned, I have never been questioned like that, and this experience has made us steer away from using the hotel forsure in the future

It served a purpose for us for one night. Wouldn't be our first choice next time.

There was no breakfast.
Convenient location.
Staff was friendly.
Clean.

Cons:

TV was broken and it was replaced by an old TV that was outdated. Couldn't stream only a few local channels.
Bathroom door would not close properly.
Toilet seat was loose.
No table and chairs.

Pros:

We stopped in our way through across Canada and found it clean and comfortable. Rae(i think her name was) was very friendly and welcoming. It suited our needs just fine :)

Very disappointed at check-in - spouse has mobility issues - very obviously not close to fully occupied and was forced to climb to second floor. Will not book at Travelodge again.
