Good location
Top floor room, basic facilities awful shower and wobbly tap. No water in the room or fridge. Lights above beds didn’t work (we had to fiddle with the bulbs)
Excellent food, both breakfast and evening meal. Drinks very well priced.

Ikke nødvendigvis en plass for yngre voksne om man liker hoteller med hightech, fancy løsninger, men opplevde dette som et enormt godt avbrekk fra nettopp dette. Absolutt verdt å sjekke ut et døgn for en roligere atmosfære enn dine typiske storby-hoteller!
Kunne vært bedre lufting/muligheter for kjøling inne på rommet i det som var et rimelig varmt klima, men med tanke på at det er en gammel bygning og ikke den typen fasiliteter som man finner i mer moderne bygninger så er dette ikke noe som preget mitt opphold eller oppfatning av stedet i særlig grad.

Stairs very steep and narrow. Noticed some older residents struggling, and no lift! Also we weren't offered any help with our bags and cases when we checked in.
When I arrived everyone was very friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly .I wish I could have stayed longer but they were fully booked,but I hope to come back again.
Just two little things, the hot tap in the bathroom twisted as you turned it off which was a bit annoying and the remote for the television didn't work very well. You have to turn it on at the TV and to switch it off you turned the plug off.

The room was a bit small
I can't fault it! The receptionist and proprietor were both very friendly and helpful. The proprietor showed me to a secure place for my bike, which even had some cycle racks. The breakfast was exceptional, with a waitress coming round to ask everyone if they would like a croissant on the house. It was very different to what I was expecting. From the booking.com description, I thought it was a guest house, not a hotel. However, that made the bed-and-breakfast charge of £75 very reasonable. The only disappointment was that the dining room was fully booked. If I had known evening meal was available, I would have reserved a place. However, it wasn't the fault of the hotel. The booking.com details didn't include it. For me, the location was good, being quite close to the rail station. It's not far from the city centre.

The hotel is in a good location, everything within walking distance. My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good. The staff are helpful and friendly. I had a lovely stay.
