Very pleasant off season stay with amazing breakfast and very clean rooms and attentive staff.
Pros:

The breakfast was beautifully displayed and was full of fresh fruit, a wide variety of bread and pastry items, oatmeal bar, yogurt bar, and even included gluten free bagels and muffins and dairy free yogurt as well as several hot food selections. You can tell they take great pride in the breakfast and breakfast area. I was impressed. Every afternoon they set out a bowl of giant cookies and always have coffee and hot water for tea or cocoa.
The room was spacious and neatly decorated with very comfortable beds and everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful and even printed our national park pass for us before we headed to Acadia during the off season when the visitor centers were all closed.

Pros:

Great location in a beautiful town. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast that was billed as continental but also had hot options.

Cons:

Weirdly we had one blackout blind and one that wasn’t blackout which meant the room was quite light.

Pros:

A very nice hotel with a convenient location. Parking provided. And the morning breakfast is perfect.

No complaints other than the check in staff was a bit dry.

One of if not the best US hotel experience I have had.
Pros:

This was one of best US hotel experiences I’ve had. Staff were genuine and attentive; room size, layout and amenities were great. Hotel breakfasts, 24 hour coffee service and other touches (flaslights, walking poles, water bottle refill) were also outstanding. Parking was convenient.

Pros:

Beautiful Victorian hotel right in town. Walking distance to everything and free parking. Exceptional continental breakfast.

Grand Hotel in a grand town
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, right in the middle of Main Street. Everything I saw was very clean.

Cons:

The crazy number of people and cars in Bar Harbor. The hotel did not have it's own restaurant.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel. Top notch.
Pros:

Sizable room and bathroom. Very elegant and spacious. Loved the cute chairs, sofa and small table.

Beds and linens were excellent.

Cons:

I had no issues or dislikes.

Nice location and atmosphere making a very comfortable stay.
Pros:

The location was good and nice to have coffee and hot chocolate available in the dinning area all day.
The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The room was a good size.

Cons:

Could not find any menu for the TV so lots of scrolling trying to find something to watch.
Was expensive for what it was but this seems to be common for peak fall.

Wonderful hotel if you’rein town exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park!
Pros:

We loved our stay at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. From the friendly, pleasant staff to all the other little things like the hiking poles, umbrellas, wonderful complimentary breakfast, the trail mix in the lobby, the robes in the room and the lovely furniture were all great. And the opportunity to do laundry was great for us. We learned so much from Doreen at the front desk too. She was very helpful and took so much pride in her job and the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay, clean hotel, phenomenal breakfast!
Pros:

This hotel was exceptional. Incredibly clean, great location, and delicious breakfast. The rooms were always cleaned daily to a standard of excellence and the staff was beyond kind and accommodating. I hardly ever write reviews, but this hotel deserves A++++.
