We will stay there again.
Pros:

Staff was excellent. Very helpful, informative, friendly, and competent.
Rooms were clean. Whirlpool was clean and operational, although crowded.

Cons:

The place did smell like oilfield workers, but that was to be expected.

If the rooms were lacking, which they weren’t, the staff made a return trip worth it.
Pros:

The staff were incredible. There was a glitch in the reservations, but the day manager called us, while en route, explained the situation, and made everything right by the time we arrived.

Cons:

The place (common areas)smelled like oilfield, but the building was clean and the rooms were spotless and smelled fresh

Room smelled. Missing bulbs in lamps in room. Breakfast ends at 9:30 am on weekends. Hide a bed mattress was grossly stained

Cons:

Dusty, bathroom door wouldn't stay open, drain didn't work well. Stuck is in a very back corner where it was weird and someone walked into our room at 230am in morning and didn't even knock? No explanation as to why that happened??

Crummy breakfast ruined it for us
Pros:

We stayed here because of breakfast & indoor pool. The pool & gym area were great

Cons:

Breakfast was not prepared well & the kitchen lady was not concerned that there wasnt any apple or orange juice or yogurt. the peanut butter was so old it was hard as a rock the boiled eggs looked like they had been in the fridge for a while and the quality of the other items werent good. They were wet mopping the main lobby at checkout time-dangerous. The furniture in the room had tears in the chair & the desk was beat up pretty badly

Pros:

I do not recommend this hotel carpets are stained hallways are dirty room are dirty. Shower would not drain water. I booked for 4 nights and had the opportunity to leave early asked for early check out at 530 am and still got charged for the next night girl at front desk said the GM can overwrite and refund me but did not. I called choice hotels and they called and asked for me and told choice hotels No as well. Presence of law enforcement was out side up front at 530 am STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!

Well-deserved STAY & EXPERIENCE
Pros:

Ms. Cathy, one of the superb Front Desk personnel from the beginning! When I called a month ago to reserve a couple of rooms, Ms. Cathy makes me feel that she can take of me and my family. We're coming from Tucson, AZ and that's about seven and half (7 1/2) hours drive to Comfort Inn Artesia, NM. I called and requested for an early check-in and surely our rooms are available, very clean / super smell good and ready and relax-feeling after a long-early drive. She always make sure that our stay is no less than outstanding experience - EXCELLENT! The rooms are spacious and well-equipped i.e. microwave, fridge, etc. plus with a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning. Not to left behind with a decent sizeable pool and fitness center that you could sweat and exercise. Outstanding housekeeping team especially Ms. Lilith - always happy to help and available for our linen and towels! Last but not the least, Ms. Carla of the swing shift front desk personnel that goes beyond expectations when she help me regarding my business center needs. We could not asked for more! We'll recommend to our relatives and friends whenever to come to Artesia, NM - Comfort Inn and Suites Artesia, NM is the place to stay!

Stay Elsewhere!
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for our son’s graduation from the Border Patrol Academy. The TV didn’t work for the first day, which was an inconvenience since there is NOTHING to do in Artesia. The maintenance man was so friendly and patient while it took almost a half hour to fix the TV. The treadmill and elliptical did not work in the “fitness center”. The key cards stopped working on the second day. There was no coffee the morning of the third day. The bed skirts were dirty and stained. I would definitely not recommend staying at this hotel.

Furchtbar, keine Empfehlung.
Pros:

Es war auf der Straße und hatte Parkplätze

Cons:

Dreckig außen (inkl. Glasscherben auf der Treppe und im Gang) und drinnen.
Sehr schlecher Zustand vom Zinmer, Betten, Handtücher, Kühlschrank. Dusche ließ sich nicht richtig öffnen und schließen.
Es gab KEINe Eismaschine, kein Vending. Alles an diesem Hotel war kaputt.
Personal sehr unfreundlich.
