A great hotel .
Pros:

A short visit but this is currently my favorite hotel in Abu Dhabi. The service is excellent and the staff are wonderful on general. It is very good value for money.

Very pleasant stay and the suite was good for the longer stay. Gym was better than average and the spa very good.. as was the pool.
Good selection of bars although only ate room service which was reasonable and quick.
Only downside that was a bit annoying I had to go to reception 3 times to remedy a small accounting error (£20). On one occasion we had a call at 9:30pm demanding that we come down and pay (we we’re staying another 6 nights), when I refused somebody was sent to my room with a card machine to collect. It took another 3 discussions with reception to resolve the issue.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city
Pros:

Great hotel, in an excellent location for exploring the city. Both bars in the hotel were amazing, reasonably priced and very tasty drinks. Pool area on the roof was well kept and had plenty of sun beds.

The hotel is decent if you're stopping over and need somewhere to lay your head for 1-2 nights, but definitely not the typical 4* hotel you'd expect to find in the UAE, the hotel is quite dated although there were renovations taking place. In a downtown area with lots of local shops but in the 'not so glamorous' side of Abu Dhabi.

I did find the rooms very dusty which made me unwell and whilst it had been cleaned there were still areas of the room that were neglected and in need of an update i.e the phone didn't work and was absolutely filfthy as well as the plug adapter, the base of the windows were super dirty too and the bedding had signs of wear and tear. For these reasons I wouldn't give this a 4*. Breakfast area also not keep clean and tidy, felt like a fast food restaurant with food on the floor that was left and only tables cleaned.

Also super cheap and uncomfortable sunbeds and daytime renovations happening at the pool. This was quite frustrating especially as a female, laying poolside with over 5 external contractors drilling and tiling the pool wasn't ideal, comfortable or relaxing (as it was very loud). I wouldn't return to this hotel and wish we'd book somewhere else.
