TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cheyenne SW/Downtown Area

Who knows how many times we’ve been back here, it’s been our go-to stop since we started crossing the country twice a year in that blessing called retirement more than 10 years ago. If you love TownePlace, you will love this one. It’s long been the No. 1-rated hotel in all of Rock Springs. Clean as a whistle, both the laundry and fitness room (free weights and a scale). Great big indoor pool. Plenty of lighted parking. We had a 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath (both with tubs) Suite with screened windows that open for a breeze. And they are massive windows, all the better for watching the trains go by — on both sides of the hotel, yet far enough away you are not disturbed just plain entranced . And breakfast was varied and delicious: scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, yogurts, breads/bagels. Thanks again to GM Shannon for treating us like Bonvoy VIPs. Catch you again on the return trip.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. We did have some late night noise from the guests above us, but after we called the front desk, it was taken care of - great customer service!

Nice property, very friendly staff, and good free breakfast. Our room had a strong food odor and was not clean. The shower curtain was filthy, hairdryer, coffee maker, and sink all looked like they had not been cleaned. Disappointed for a Marriott and this price point.

It was nice to have the extra space in the room. The table and chairs is a nice touch. The closet area was unique also. The bath area was nice-different from most.places. The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay

We stayed one night when driving from Denver to Mount Rushmore.

The room was large with a full kitchen including fridge, microwave and stove top.

The bathroom was a good size as was the bedroom area. You could easily work from the room with a full desk area.

Check in was easy and Diane who checked us in was friendly. The hotel does include breakfast but we didn’t get downstairs in time as only served until 9am.

Great hotel for a very short stay!

We had a great stay at TownePlace Suites during our road trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—just what we needed after a long day of driving. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise: fresh, convenient, and a great way to fuel up before hitting the road again. Everything was well-kept and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

The room was clean and modern, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the water pressure in the shower was great.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is your standard continental. Location is very close to downtown Cheyenne for shopping and sightseeing. Close to restaurants. Overall a good stay either as you are traveling thru or spending a few days in Cheyenne.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Would stay again when I come thru town.

I don't know where to start. We almost always travel with our Weimaraner and this is listed as a a dog friendly hotel. That is an understatement! Greta was greeted by all the staff as if she was a VIP. Check-in was so smooth and we were settled into our room quickly.
The room had everything we needed-refrigerator/microwave/dishes/dishwasher. The hotel iteslf was close to everything we were interested in.
I have to say the staff was so wonderfully accomodating, friendly and professional.
Breakfast was good-they kept the buffet line stocked well.
An after stay caveat-when we checked out of the hotel I had inadvertently dropped a set of LG Tone headsets on the floor and wasn't aware of it. I thought I had packed them in my computor case. Upon arriving home, I realized they weren't where I thought they were. I called the hotel and they told me they had found them. They were amazing in helping accomodate the return. Also the honesty of the staff that the cleaning crew turned them in. It wasn't the first time I had left a headset in a room, the last being 3 years ago. That set was never found. This time it was a happy ending.
We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Cheyenne area. I highly recommend it.
