I visit in royal phonecia hotel I go for bar in 9th floor. The name Sea view service is very bad. I ordered something I request for mint sauce but waitress denied me. Waitress very rude behavior. Not care for another guest only talking inside the bar with cashier. I will not come this hotel. Iam very disappointed. My suggestion is take care of all guest proper service.
I don’t advise choosing the hotel ..old fashion they ask to keep your hotel or a CASH deposit not credit card….clubs music like a new year eve at Times Square.
Overall it was a quiet place for an emergency day needed to spent at a hotel. The price was good for what they offered. They will charge you for water. You're only allowed 2 bottle of 330ml.
Standard
The noise started at 12 - 5 am
The staff are not up to standards for a 4 stars hotel . The high way is right next to your room . I rather pay a little more money and have a peaceful day & night at the 5 stars hotel witch is only 1 kilometres away from this hotel.
The installations of the Hotel and room are excellent for the price I paid, to reach the hotel is a little complicated but is ok
The welcoming desk could not find my reservation it took a lot of time for them to get it.
They kept my passport without telling me.
They had a disco club at the 11th floor, I had a deluxe suit I needed something quiet. I couldn't sleep from midnight to 5am.
The welcoming desks agents were barely polite and concerned, the grooms were very nice and aware.
Little noisy (loud) music till 02 AM. Food is OK. Not expensive.Position of hotel not nice- far from shops and center of Manama (possible shortly change because many new buildings still under reconstruction)
We had a huge room for 3 with separate room for a living room and kitchenette. It was more than what i expected. It was clean as well.Location is good as well. Can’t say about food coz we haven’t eat from there. Receptionists was just ok.Maybe they are more approachable to other nationalities except to fellow asians like us. Other staff are good.
The staff is cooperative, food is OK. The gym and the pool are also OK. But at night, the music from the down stair restaurant reaches everywhere. If you sleep before 11 PM, it may not affect you. But after midnight, it will irritate you.
The location is not far from the city, but not a busy area. The hotel is visible from very far and it is easy to locate.
Godawful hotel. Concierge and receptionist were lovely but little did I know what I was letting myself in for. A loo that had to be pumped to flush, a bed harder than a marble table and a good morning rat. Music went on all night, and the ladies sure worked hard. All night. Loudly. And in the morning I was greeted by a furry friend- Mr Rat.
The hotel staff are very professional, very friendly and accommodating! I like everything they have at the hotel! From the elegant rooms I stayed at! To the awesome views from my window! To 5 STAR Services they can offer! Simply the BEST! Highly recommendable place to stay!
A very nice hotel to stay with. With very accommodating hotel staffs too. Alhamdullilah I checked in 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 very good facilities as well. I surely recommend this to all of solo travelers in my network.
The room very good but not clean
If you are low on budget then this is the place to stay for you. The room rate was reasonable and includes WiFi, breakfast and airport pick up. When we arrived our rooms were not available even though it was late in the evening and check in time is supposed to be 2 PM. We were made to wait for more than an hour. We went for dinner in the restaurant and they did not have many items which were on the menu, in the end we asked them what they have and told them to bring us something. These were the negative parts. Cleanliness can be improved in the common areas. The rooms were clean and nothing to complain, they were spacious. The buffet breakfast was good. Overall I would not return here and look for other options.
The first day they gave me a room just next to the nightclub, which was very noisy !!
The next day I asked to change the room for me and they gave me an old room with old furniture and not very well cleaned !!
And there was a bad smell in it !!
young travelers ( single guys who are looking for a place to sleep,if you are looking minimum amount of cleanses you can go , but there are other better hotels in Manama, if you are westerners don't go to this place
I like Royal Phoenicia Hotel.. Staff are so friendly and smiley all the time .. hotel is clean and looks new everything is well arranged there .. they have a nice pool & good view restaurant .. location is little confusing but the hotel really worth staying in.. Thanks for all people there will come back soon.
We booked a room for three days and two nights through Agoda and the value for our money was excellent. The room is beautiful, clean and very spacious.
Our room has a wireless router (I'm not sure though if every room has one). However, the internet connection is not fast if you have high standard in speed. It only maxed up to 3 mbps. Fair enough if you are going to check emails and browse the web but not good for streaming videos online. Cable TV has limited English channels. Bahrain power sockets are of type G so be sure to bring your adapters with you.
The bed is queen-size, the air conditioning is working fine but it gets too cold at night, so better make use of that duvet. The natural light in the morning is very nice.
There is a swimming pool in the first floor for both adults and kids. It's facing the freeway so there's at least a good, open view. We had no problem looking for a parking space inside the building.
The staff are polite, very accommodating and always smiling.
Me and my wife will definitely check-in again at Royal Phoenicia Hotel in the future
the room is nice, hotel is a bit confusing to locate. but i love the room because it is spacious. Theresa was lovely, but the rest have poor service. Abdulrahman who is i believe an egyptian guy is very rude. i have never encounter a man this rude in my entire life. i was asking for my booking confirmation and all he have to say is he is not allowed. he is not allowed on any way to confirm my booking? Please avoid talking to him as he shouts at you like you are not paying the hotel. he shouts like he owns the hotel. Your hotel can do more on this, please train your employees before you let them work in service..
