Double - Six, Luxury Hotel - Seminyak

Lovely friendly staff, beautiful and clean

Our room opened right to the pool… awesome! The Plantation Restaurant was cool (loved the sax player) & food was great! Service was great. Large selection at daily breakfast buffet. Great sunset views from rooftop bar/restaurant. Beach was across the street…

The room was spacious and the staff were friendly. However, the breakfast wasn’t really to my taste and the selection was pretty much the same every day. If you’re staying multiple nights, it can get repetitive after a few days. I also felt a bit uncomfortable being encouraged to leave a 5-star review — I prefer to leave an honest review based on my experience.

At check-in, I was told the gym was open from 8am to 8pm, but that information was incorrect — I believe it actually opens at 7am. Unfortunately, I tend to work out outside of those hours, so I found the limited access inconvenient. Breakfast starts at 7am as well, and while I usually prefer an earlier start, that wasn’t a major issue. I did really enjoy the coffee options at breakfast — I had a regular coffee and an iced latte, both of which were great.

The hotel entrance felt a bit unsafe as you need to walk up the driveway. There is an alternative route through the lobby and pool area, but access was inconsistent — sometimes the front desk would open the door for us, and other times they refused. It seemed to depend on the staff member, which was frustrating.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there were a few downsides. The bath water appeared slightly rusty or yellowish, which I found off-putting. It may have been due to the rain, and I didn’t report it at the time. The booking process also wasn’t particularly smooth.

We were celebrating a birthday, and the hotel kindly arranged flowers in the room, which was a lovely touch. That said, while the stay was nice overall, it didn’t leave a strong “wow” impression. With so many other options available, I’m not sure if I would choose to stay here again next time.

We had such a great stay at Double-Six Luxury Hotel and just want to say a big thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. We genuinely felt taken care of the entire time.

The service was consistently amazing but still relaxed and easy, which made the whole trip even better. Our room was huge, super comfortable, and had spectacular views right across the beach — it was hard to leave that balcony!

The pool was always the perfect temperature and such a great spot to unwind. The restaurants were fantastic too — the food was exceptional and we loved every meal we had there.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Double-Six to anyone heading to Seminyak. It was an incredible stay and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing service and have looked after us magnificently

This hotel is definitely in my top 10. Not only are the rooms beautiful, but the service from ALL the staff is also fantastic; they are friendly and helpful and always ready to assist. Don't forget to try the restaurants; they are truly top-notch. The rooftop restaurant is perfect. The lobster is highly recommended.

One more thing: a big kudos to the housekeepers who clean the rooms every day without being noticed. Perfect.

The only downside... The air conditioning works well, but everything in your room, even the closets, is damp and humid. I've tried everything: ventilation and heating. It doesn't help.
You can also smell it when you enter the room. So you can forget about drying wet clothes.

We have enjoyed our 7th stay at wonderful Double-Six Luxury Hotel Seminyak late last year. There is so much to love about Double-Six:
The location, the suites, the views, the excellent pool, the meals, the Rooftop with its endless views, Plantation Restaurant and SuziQ!
But best of all are the beautiful people, the team at Double-Six who welcome us back time after time with open arms and warm hugs. They make us feel like part of the family and nothing is too much trouble for this team. We can't wait to be back for our 8th visit!
