I would probably not choose this spot again in Duluth but it was acceptable for me.
Pros:

the bed was comfortable, checking in and out was easy

Cons:

there could be some room coffee maker and the bedspread was stained and that was kind of gross.

At this point, I would not stay again but as they say, "you get what you pay for"
Pros:

Location as far as proximity to store being near by and the ease of getting on or off 35

Cons:

Lady at the counter was not very pleasant at check in. Getting in and out of our room was frustrating at times because the lock/handle would catch. The room was not very clean especially the washroom. When walking down the hall to and from our room all you can smell is cigarette and pot. Then the Rift raft of people that just sit and watch your comings and goings, and they appeared to be drunk or high and gathering around making it feel unsafe coming in or out of the property. People living in their van right outside the property, again just making the area feel unsafe. Cleanliness outside in the parking lot was also in a horrible state with discarded needles and such on the ground.

Will definitely not be back.
Pros:

It was next to an awesome restaurant.

Cons:

I booked a non smoking room and our room reeked terribly of smoke. The pillows were flat and one was crumpled up. There was VERY LITTLE toilet paper on the roll and not another roll to replace it. The hallway carpet was stained and there was trash scattered down the hallways. We paid $188 for the room and it was a rip off.

Not great amenities. Not accommodating for physical ability issues

Location, pets stay free

Cons:

Leaky toilet, no coffee machine in room. Told that was for upgraded rooms only, very poor bed linens. Had requested main floor stay due to handicap issues at time of our initial booking and was placed on 2 nd flr with no elevator. It was a struggle to say the least. Had asked for a main floor room but told none available even though he had just told person checking in ahead of us he could stay on main or second floor.

Cons:

Der Preis ist total überhöht, das Personal super unfreundlich, auf dem Flur ist es laut und die Mülleimer auf den Fluren sind überfüllt.

The improvements at motel 6 in Duluth are awesome!
Pros:

Employees were helpful in answering our questions, mainly travel oriented. Also liked the handicap shower. Nice work!

Cons:

Difficulty finding the bathroom in the dark. A night light would do

perfect for what I needed, a place to sleep for one night on my way home

Don't bother,spend more your safety, no crime,mucher better close eating.
Pros:

The worst room ever, like the cheapest old folks home from the 60s. Bathroom was a mess, ie the door was water damaged from floor to 1 foot up???? Door exits were not working!!!A clear fire Hazard. The map they show you is redirects you to not were your at? Who made that? CHINA?
Staff was very nice, made sure I was aware of high crime in area!!! Don't leave anything in your car. Funny I was their to snowmobiling. Yea thousands in equipment. Cameras,gear. Yes I was checking 2 hours all night. We moved next morning. The restaurant next to it OMG EXPENSIVE, DRINK 4 OZ 13 BUCKS. PEPPERED WINGS 6 FOR 34 BUCKS. DO NOT GO THEIR!!!

Staff was very helpful in three trips, doors that did not work,and crime.
