I liked how close it was to the beach
And the place itself was nice and the staff was accommodating
There’s restaurants and parties that were very loud next to it so it was hard to sleep on part of the nights

The location is right on the beach, although the photo is a bit misleading as not all rooms have beach views. The staff are fantastically welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The room was clean.
It's a little run down for the price they are charging. Whilst spotlessly clean, there were scratches and some peeling of laminates etc in the bathroom. The hinges on the lower hinge of the bathroom door, for example, were loose - which whilst was fine in a cheaper hotel, for this price I would have expected it all 100%.
Its too expensive for what it is - maybe its the location that means it commands such a high price.
Also worth knowing is that it is right next door to a bar, which is noisy, but the noise stops at 10pm.

The staff went out of their way to be unhelpful. The room I booked was the largest room in the place. I did this so it would be a special last night in LA. The noise outside the room was extreme to say the least. The staff said there were no other rooms available. There were. When I pointed this out, they offered ear plugs. Finally they offered another room that was a room the was half the size and cost but they charged us for the big room anyway as they said that they could not use the room as we sat on the bed. No manager on site. The manager was only contactable by email. Really really really bad
