Fantastic staff, unbeatable location
Pros:

Tyan was exceptional in welcoming us and assisting with any requests and questions. We loved that we could store our luggage and enjoy the beach until check-in.

Perfect for a couple nights' stay if you want to explore the beach
Pros:

- Very helpful / friendly staff that are always available
- Easy to access Venice Beach boardwalk & short walk from the Santa Monica Pier
- Close to bus stop
- Luggage storage for free

Cons:

- Last minute booking resulted in door code not working. Not a big issue since staff is always there

If you want anything other than a location by the beach, beware.
Pros:

The location was literally the only good thing about this "hotel". The fact that this is being classified as a hotel, and anything above a 1 star is an absolute scam.

Cons:

There really wasn't anything other than the location to like. No amenities AT ALL, this is at best a motel, but more like a hostel with private rooms. The windows didn't shut properly so during the storms that happened all weekend there was literally wind blowing through the room. I could more or less hear EVERYTHING the person upstairs was doing, so sleeping was fundamentally an issue. Literally, the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed at. The only food options on site was Cup'o Noodle...do room cleanings before day three...no parking...no room keys, passcodes, which can be memorized, if you saw this place you know they're not changing these codes daily.

Great location, within walking distance of Santa Monica Pier. There’s even a partial ocean view, which is a nice bonus.
