Enjoyable but probably not repeat even to see the Farne Islands.
Pros:

Great location. Looks a bit dated from the outside but really nice inside. Very friendly staff. The steak night deal was excellent and good value. Comfortable room. We upgraded to a patio room. Very good breakfast choices.

Cons:

The room was nice but there was no ventilation in the patio room once the doors were shut at night and I could leave it ajar as it just swung fully open. It was by a shared garden area completely overlooked by other rooms. Even with the heating turned off we were far too hot.

We really enjoyed our one night stay and slept well.
Pros:

The hotel was located perfectly for our Northumberland Coastal Walk.
We could use the swimming pool and sauna etc all for free, it was lovely to go for a swim before dinner.
Lovely menu and I had a delicious burger and fries, cooked perfectly.

Cons:

Kippers were on the menu for breakfast, but were unavailable.
A strange rattle noise from the bathroom.

Perfectly adequate
Pros:

Easy to find, clean decent breakfast

Cons:

Bed (double) is small as is the room. But it was just for one night, so not that big of a deal.

Perfect memories
Pros:

From arrival to leaving we felt so at home reception first class even took us to the room the room was number 31 with lounge and out door area Food excellent breakfast made to order so yummy great start to the day we spent 3 nights at the Beach hotel it was not long enough perfect location thank you si much to Joy Shanon Beth Hannah and beautiful Lynn you were all so kind to our grandchildren we can't thank you enough we shall be back beware 100% FABULOUS

Fantastic hotel, amazing staff great food just perfect

Fantastic location, great food, very clean and modern. Parking facilities, amazing views, staff brilliant would highly recommend and would use again.
