nothing that I can think of apart from the location - it is excellent

Cons:

unfriendly check in and out, dangerous steep stairs right outside room, tiny tiny room, shower did not work properly and only had HOT water, soap tray falling off wall, no remotes for either TV or heating unit - receptionist could have cared less and was only interested in making sure I paid the city tax. Off and on I have been staying at the Hotel Saintonge for 25 years and have recommended it countless times. No more
