comfortable stay
Pros:

great breakfast and evening meal.

Cons:

I had received confirmation of changes to the reservation dates from Booking.com however on arrival to be advised that an email had been sent advising that there were only 2rooms available and that the hotel had emailed to advise this.Communications between Booking.com and the accommodation needs to be better coordinated to ensure accommodation required is provided.Fortunately the hotel had a room spare .

Cons:

This isn't related to the hotel, but to Booking.com. When I booked I booked for two people - me and my 14 year old son. Booking.com stated I wanted a family room, but on arrival, the Royal Ship had confirmation from Booking.com that only one person was travelling!! Luckily, the hotel managed to changed some rooms around so that me and my 14 year old son weren't sharing a double bed!! For a company the size of Booking.com I find this to be shocking customer service! The hotel addressed the problem raised by Booking.com exceptionally and should be complimented on their customer service!!
