De locatie was fantastisch, de authenticiteit van het gebouw en kamer zorgde voor een unieke en mooie ervaring.

Unique hotel option that we enjoyed.
Pros:

Beautiful conversion of college dorms to hotel rooms. Historic atmosphere. Directly across from Salisbury Cathedral. The cathedral is lit at night for spectacular pictures.

Cons:

Quite nice. Not meant for super luxury crowd. Generally a spartan room and bathroom. Clean and efficient.

Pros:

Sarum college is in a great location. Opposite the cathedral in the centre of town. The room is basic but it had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were kind and helpful.

Cons:

This did not detract from anything but be aware the beds can be quite hard.

Pros:

It is in a fantastic location, directly opposite the cathedral and central to town. There are plenty of nice places to eat nearby. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Double bed - Queen or King would be better. Shower pressure not great.

We would stay again as it is so convenient for Salisbury Cathedral on The Close.
Pros:

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room perfectly adequate for our needs. Its location on The Close was perfect for visiting Salisbury Cathedral, our focus of the weekend. The breakfast choices were wide and the dining area light and airy. The towels were large and fluffy, a real treat!

Cons:

There was an issue with hot water during our stay. The first night the water was lukewarm; by Sunday there was no hot water at all so we could not shower. We were not told that there was an issue - we just discovered it when turning on the sink tap and shower!

The room would have benefited from curtains with linings or black out linings to reduce the amount of light streaming in each morning which woke us up earlier than we would have liked!

Best value for money in Salisbury and I will be making it my go to place on future visits
Pros:

The location cannot be beaten. It was a hot day and when I checked in they had upgraded me to an en suite room which was really appreciated. The breakfast was 10/10 too!

Cons:

The only thing to be aware of is if you are planning to go out and return late, the area is locked and a key is required but that’s no reflection on the hotel
