Stunning location!!!
Pros:

The location was fantastic, right opposite the Cathedral. The breakfast was wonderful with really good quality produce with nice touches like gluten free bread and a toaster for it.

Cons:

Very basic accommodation and the rooms were a little on the small side.

Stay at a C of E old style college dorms near Cathedral.
Pros:

Basic British, somewhat stodgy, there was lighter option if you wanted. Nice that the breakfast came with the booking, that’s unusual.
The location is great, inside the’Close’, the Salisbury cathedral area is closed to the public at night.

We certainly recommend Sarum College!
Pros:

We enjoyed very much staying at Sarum College! The staff was very helpfull. The location is more than perfect! Breakfast was very good. The car park is a valuable bonus.

A real bargain for a L ovely setting and atmosphere and food
Pros:

Beautiful setting - the atmosphere is so grounding and it attracts lovely guests. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plus you step out to a spectacular view of the cathedral.

Good on the whole.
Pros:

Breakfast and all meals were excellent. Location is brilliant and beautiful.

Cons:

My room was basic and not ensuite. The communal bathroom was old and didn't look very clean.

Sarum College
Pros:

Mooie locatie in het centrum.
Aardige dame bij ontvangst en in de avond. Die in de ochtend was minder.
Ontbijt was in orde.

Cons:

Parkeren pas mogelijk in de avond(was vol), daardoor de parkeermogelijkheden van £10 moeten gebruiken.
Als je uitzicht wil moet je een duurdere kamer boeken, wij hadden dus maar een klein raam met uitzicht op een dak.

Close to heaven in Salisbury
Pros:

This was no frills heaven in Salisbury Cathedral Close. Beautiful location, friendly staff, good shower and even a coeliac breakfast.
19th century Theological College with chapel and library, cats @back, nice neighbours walking dogs and if I stood on my bed, a view of the Cathedral spire! Very central location. Furniture c 1990 and single beds, but it is College accommodation.

Cons:

It suited me perfectly, no negative quibbles.

Good stay in lovely location
Pros:

Amazing location, free car park, good value for money, very pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons:

Restaurant was not opened on that day (Friday). As expected, the attic room we stayed in was very small and hot, however the bathroom was a bit of health hazard (possibility of tripping over and falling) due to its size and the two steps leading from the door to the shower cubicle and toilet

Gracias Sarum College!!!!
Pros:

La ubicación y el trato del personal. El Sarum College se encuentra dentro del recinto de la Catedral. El Recinto público cierra sus puertas a las 23.00 pero tienen llaves a disposición de los huéspedes para acceder por una puerta peatonal.

Yo tenía que salir con el coche a las 04:00h porque tenía contratada una visita a Stonehenge para ver el amanecer. La puerta de salida de coches estaba cerrada con candado!!

La recepción del Sarum College cierra por la noche pero está disponible un número de teléfono. Llamé y vino la recepcionista al momento. telefónicamente con la empresa de seguridad, presionándolos para que abriesen el portalón. En 1 minuto vino la seguridad y abrió la puerta. Gracias al personal del Sarum no perdí la excursión motivo de mi viaje. Solo por eso, un 10! Muchísimas gracias!!

Parfait pour visiter confortablement Salisbury de façon authentique

Charmed by the building and its location.
Pros:

The breakfast was better than I expected. The location was perfect. I liked hearing the swifts who nested around the building.

Cons:

There was no way of staying cool in the bedroom as the windows faced west and there was no air even with the windows wide open but it was during the heatwave.
