Hotel espectacular con servicio impersonal.
Pros:

Lo bonito y cuidado que es. La piscina exterior fantástica. A pesar de que esta lejos del centro hay autobús para ir a la ciudad. Estupendo desayuno y personal de bar y desayuno excelentes.

Cons:

Que el checkout fuera a las 10.00, y que estando de luna de miel no tuvieran ningún detalle con nosotros.

O Arakur é seguramente um dos melhores hotéis em que já estive. Acomodações e dependências excelentes e muito bem cuidadas, vista deslumbrante, piscina aquecida espetacular e café da manhã completo e delicioso. Um resort perfeito para férias de sonho, com o diferencial de estar em Ushuaia, o "fim do mundo". Destaque também para a equipe do hotel, sempre gentil e prestativa.

Above and beyond. Staff are amazing, so is the Asado at the buffet.
Pros:

Beautiful resort style overlooking the city. The staff are amazing, the go above and beyond. We had an incident where my son left his AirPods behind in the room by the time we realised we were at the airport ready to board another flight. I quickly rang the hotel to tell them what had happened, they promptly searched the room, found the AirPods and had them in a taxi to us at the airport before we boarded our next flight

Cons:

Maybe a little too far from city but the free shuttle from the hotel is a great service. A kettle and or coffee machine in rooms would also be a great addition.

Beautiful hotel. Shockingly poor service for this price level.

Arakur was supposed to be the highlight of our first trip to Ushuaia. We booked only one night our final night and unfortunately, a large part of it was wasted dealing with the hotel.

We arrived an hour after check-in and were given a room directly above the parking area, with a view that felt completely different from what we expected based on the hotel’s presentation.

We asked to change rooms and were told to wait 30 minutes because someone would come to assist us.

Nobody came.

We called again. Waited again.

Eventually, they found us a much better room two floors higher one that actually felt appropriate for the very high price we had paid. We were then asked to wait another 40 minutes for the room to be prepared.

After 40 minutes, we were told it was still not ready.

At this point, a significant part of our only afternoon at Arakur had simply disappeared.

Only when we went down to reception ourselves and made it clear that this was unacceptable did things suddenly start moving.

The compensation? A small bottle of wine.

For a hotel charging luxury prices, this was honestly almost insulting.

The hotel itself is spectacular beautiful architecture, incredible surroundings and, once you get the right room, an amazing view. But luxury is not just a beautiful building. Luxury is also how you treat your guests and how you value their time.

The pool area was also packed with families and noisy children, so anyone expecting a quiet, relaxing luxury atmosphere should be aware of that.

Communication was another issue. We were surprised by how difficult it was to communicate in English with several members of the staff, especially at a hotel that markets itself to international travelers.

We came to Arakur expecting it to be one of the highlights of Ushuaia.
