no idea as we were told they no longer work with booking.com, so our room had been cancelled, without anybody telling me about it, so i had to find another hotel to stay in, so i want my money back.

Attention, arnaque! Beware FRAUD! L'hôtel a refusé de me donner une chambre, pourtant déjà payée, et même en leur montrant le reçu et les mails reçus de leur part via Booking, en disant qu'ils ne travaillaient plus avec Booking. Pourtant j'avais fait la réservation la même journée et sur la semaine suivante, l'hôtel apparaissait aussi en proposition sur le site de Booking. The hotel refused to give me the room that I had already paid on Booking when showing up at the reception, saying they do not work with Booking since 2 months. They refused to confirm their refusal by written and refused to help me by calling thBooking or the hotel chain OYO that signed the mails to confirm me the booking. The reservation was made the same day and the hotel was still reported as a proposal on Booking's site the following week (as an example). Do not book this hotel via Booking or you will loose your money.
Departure
Payment was taken by Booking.Com a day before arrival. On arriving at the hotel before check-in time, our reservation was confirmed and we were allowed to store bags behind reception. On returning later in the evening to check-in to our room, we were advised that the new hotel management would not honour bookings via Booking.Com nor Expedia, Agoda, etc; and that we'd have to pay them for the room (ie pay twice), leading to lots of disgruntled customers in the lobby. Booking.Com were excellent; immediately telephoning & emailing the hotel but got no response. So Booking.Com refunded our money allowing us to either keep our reservation & pay the hotel directly or find somewhere else. We chose the latter. We felt we were lied to by the hotel staff. Customers of other brokers were left to pay twice.
Room and facilities OK - I notice lift is still not working though
Refused to check me in as Booking.com!!! Had to pay again to obtain my Room - they had the booking on screen!! Recepionist stated they do not use Booking.com since June! but looking at other reviews you would think they would have sorted this. Now I'm chasing Refund via both Booking.com and OYO - I have also charge back both payments via credit until this issue is resolved.. This is very poor from the hotel as they could have easily just cancelled the booking as soon as it appeared on their system instead of waiting for me to arrive to pay extra!! Note all comms still forward me to the same reception number.

Only thing is disappointing me is I had book hotel by booking.com when I arrived the hotel was not pass of booking.com so deficient for me to try to get refund back

The hotel's location was excellent and very convenient. It was right by the sea, and within walking distance of the pier and the bus stop, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions.
The room was clean and well-organized, and the property was very peaceful and quiet.
