Comfort Suites Uniontown

Good on both

The hotel needs a good deep cleaning. Hallway carpet had stains. Moulding needed cleaning. Patched holes were evident.

I liked that it was quiet. I also thought it was neat that it had 6 slot machines i could play when i couldn't sleep. I wished it had a room on the first floor since my fiance has a hard time walking to far. Other than that it was a nice stay. We will be back next time we go to visit family.

The floor in the shower was clean but looked very dirty. I felt uncomfortable taking a shower

The door to our room had been broken into at one time and did not close properly. You had to make sure you pulled it hard when you closed it as you left

I have attached photos of the problems in our room. Dresser drawers were visibly broken, the bathroom floor was sticky and there was a bug crawling around in there, the coffee maker plugs into a dead outlet, the smoke detector was covered in plastic wrap (?) and the refrigerator was dirty. Down in the lobby breakfast area, there is no butter for your toast, only margarine labeled "48% oil" and the coffee in the breakfast area was already cold at 6:30am, (so I had to nuke it). One positive note: the attendant who oversees the breakfast area (on Saturday morning) really hustled; cleaning and replenishing. She was friendly and extremely hard-working. Uniontown PA is a low socio-economic community. But, this hotel SHOULD STILL CARE about the condition of the property and quality of stay for their guests, most of whom are coming from out of town. We paid $350 for 2 weekend nights. Depressing.

The property was nice, quiet and clean. The breakfast was good. The breakfast attendant was exceptionally friendly and helpful. What a wonderful person!

Overall great overnight stay….awesome continental breakfast with lots of options. Would def stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean lobby and pretty good breakfast, but rooms were terrible. Our room was old, dark, and dirty. Only one elevator that was extremely slow.

The pool had a strong odor of chlorine, which tells me that the chemical levels of the water was in need of maintenance.

Had to replace keys to room 3 times cause they wouldn’t work. The WiFi didn’t work at all

This place is not well attended to. The a/c system in our room was in need of a new thermostat. The TV in the room would darken and lighten uncommanded. Hallways and elevator had a musty smell. Lots of things in common areas need to be updated. Lots of signs of a hotel sliding downhill.

We stayed for one night while working in the area. All employee interactions were good, everything was clean and as you would expect. Large and spacious room. Breakfast offerings included bread products, egg patties, sausage links, cereal and oatmeal.

Good place

The property looks nice until you get to your room. The rooms smelled like mold and had stains on the wall that looked like someone gave up painting. The shower did not drain and was dirty. The sheets were dirty almost as if they just redid the beds after the last guest before us. We had to change one of our rooms because there was hair in the beds and the sofa bed was full of trash. The staff was nice and so was breakfast but it didn’t make up for the poor condition of the hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff

This hotel has the worst customer service. If I could give a 0 I would. Booked online in May then chose to book an extra day in July to extend my stay by one day. I called in July to the Uniontown location added my extra day, but noticed the following day I was charged for $260 for 2 days. I spoke with a male employee who explained, it does happen sometimes, when the pending status ends that extra change would fall off. However, 5 days later both charges fell off, so once again I called the Uniontown location and had to rebook my additional 1 night stay. Now, about 3 weeks later. I go to use my debit card and my card declined to find out the Comfort Suites charged my card 3x for a total of $405.34. Obviously upset, I called Comfort Suites of Uniontown again. To have a female employee be rude and not understanding at all. When I asked to speak with a manager she told me the manager was gone for the day at 4:30pm and to call back the next day. Today, I called back got the same woman as yesterday who was rude, not understanding, yelling over me and then hung up on me 2x. Then just to have her call me back and say they will be cancelling my stay and as I stated to her please do. I did call corporate and will NEVER be staying at this location. All I want is my money back in my account that was not authorized.
