Elroy with the valet helped me and my partner find a great place to park during mid day rush and even told us more about the area. Great people here
Phenomenal stay, easily one of the best hotel experiences we've had in the US. Such great service and impeccably featured hotel.
We booked this hotel specifically because it participates in American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts. We frequently stay within this program and expect a consistent level of professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this property did not meet that standard.
At check-in, the associate assisting us was not welcoming and did not review any of the Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits. When I asked about the welcome cocktail and potential room upgrades, the responses felt dismissive. I had reviewed availability prior to arrival and was simply asking for clarification, yet the interaction felt more like we were being shut down than helped. It was only when another team member stepped in — offering a glass of wine and looking into upgrade options — that the experience began to resemble what one would expect from a property in this category.
Later that evening, we called room service at 9:45 p.m. to order dessert and a bottle of champagne. We were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our order could not be accommodated, despite room service hours being listed until 10:00 p.m. When I pointed out that we were calling within the stated service window, we were still refused. If service ends at 10:00 p.m., guests should reasonably expect to be able to place an order before then.
Fine Hotels & Resorts properties are expected to deliver five-star service. Based on our experience, this hotel did not. We will return to the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton in Denver in the future, where the service consistently aligns with the level promised.
Elroy helped me and my friends out with parking in downtown! Give this man a raise!!! He took very good care of us and made our trip 10x easier!!
Came to town with some friends and was struggling to find garage parking. Elroy was extremely helpful and found a spot to leave our truck and belongings!
Elroy saved the day! So happy we got to meet him! He is the best!! This man deserves a raise!!!
Elroy, the valet concierge, was the friendliest and most helpful. My friend group had to leave luggage in the back of an open bed pickup truck and he assured us that he would keep an eye on it and make sure it’s protected. He went above and beyond to make sure our stuff was safe. He was very reliable, trustworthy, and friendly!
The Crawford is an absolute gem tucked into the train station. I had experienced the food and shopping options inside Union Station on a previous visit. I wanted to stay at the Crawford on my next visit to Denver. It did not disappoint. Great location and amenities. The staff was super helpful. I received a number of benefits by booking through Amex that really put the stay over the top.
The staff at the hotel really went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Cole at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. He helped us decorate the hotel room for my daughter's birthday and even brought her candy and treats as a birthday gift. All the staff we interacted with were wonderful. The room was beautiful and surprisingly spacious. I highly recommend staying here. The location is great and you do not need a car. Being inside of Union Station made for a very unique setting and gave the hotel a lot of charge.
Very good experience while staying in Denver. Location and staff were top. Very cool setting within the Union Station.
La habitación y el hecho de estar en plena estación de tren en un edificio histórico.
Que no tienen un servicio de recepción a la llegada donde ayuden con las maletas.
My company hosted an event in Denver and I was lucky enough to be assigned a room at the Crawford Hotel. What a beautifully appointed hotel and room! It was comfy, clean, and adorable. The staff were incredibly helpful and I loved the daily happy hour treats they provided as well as the ability to get a cup of coffee on the house at Pigtrain Coffee. I would definitely go back!
Outstanding rooms and service. The Pullman room was superb. Cole, Melanie and Blake met us when we checked in and provided a wonderful experience. The Crawford is located in Union Station and access to world class food, beverage, shopping and events. Highly recommend.
I have been wanted to stay in this unique hotel in downtown Denver and connected to union station for quite some time. I was not disappointed. The experience was 5 star from the welcome in the private lobby. My family and I were welcomed with drinks upon arrival and really enjoyed the whiskey. We were assisted by Cole and Blake who made sure we had dinner and breakfast reservations lined up, walked us to our room, and treated our children to a hot chocolate bar later that evening. The room was beautifully designed with an old world feel. We enjoyed visiting the bookstore, ice cream shop, coffee shop and bar. A memorable and fancy experience!
Union Station historical tour including the station and hotel area was fascinating. Much history explained which is not clear to the naked eye. I would recommend including this tour in your visit to learn more about Denver and this landmark.
The Crawford has the highest of quality accommodations but also the absolute best employees who interact with you on the most friendly yet very professional level !!
Elroy with Valet parking makes you feel like neighbors and took such good care of us and our car during our stay at The Crawford ! We laughed that he could have put the seat back in my little Benz but he just “unfolded” himself out of the seat to be sure settings were where I left them !
And Catrina at the front desk has such a professional yet easy going demeanor that you actually want to chat with her more than just “checking “ in ! She shears asked how we were enjoying our stay and even remembered where we were going the night before . A true gem in the hospitality industry !!
We will easily be back again for a few nights with their fabulous Breakfast and room packages! You need to look them up !
Lovely room. Lovely atmosphere. Romantic staycation with hubby in Denver downtown. Had all amenities. Decor was nice and there's something to be said about stayingbin a historic hotel that pays homage to its founder
The hotel made it so special. Will be coming back
I had the most fabulous tour at Union Station, guided by Jim. He is excellent, so knowledgeable not only about the building but the area and all is history. He also has funny anecdotes that make the tour even more entertaining. I highly recommend it!
Stayed at the Crawford just one night so that we could make it to the ski train at 6:30am. The check-in process was smooth, the ey had a storage spot for our oversized bag, the room was beautiful, beds super comfy, and we were literally an elevator ride away from the train platform.
I went on insider’s tour of Union Station in Denver and it was easily the most memorable ways to experience the city’s heart and history. Perfectly organized for our group of 20, I was let in on secrets for a place I walk by regularly. Our historian guide, Jim, was extremely knowledgable and he shared fascinating stories, hidden details, and behind-the-scenes moments that brought the station’s past and present vividly to life.
The tour was made truly special because Jim weaved together history, architecture, and the living energy of Union Station today. I learned how Union Station transformed over the decades, the vision of Dana Crawford and others that saved and restored it, and the thoughtful design choices that honor its legacy while keeping it modern and vibrant. As a longtime Denver resident, I was surprised by how much I learned.
The tour pace was perfect, Jim's storytelling engaging, and the access felt genuinely exclusive. I walked away with a deeper appreciation not just for Union Station itself, but for Denver’s growth, resilience, and character. If you’re even remotely interested in history, architecture, or Denver’s story, this insider’s tour is an absolute must—informative, inspiring, and incredibly well done.
Bathroom was dirty (brown spots on wall, dust on counters/tissue box, water stains on shower handle- wasn’t wiped down). No mirror outside the bathroom to get ready in the room while the bathroom was occupied. Tv app options were limited. No overview of amenities or asking about preferences at check in. Only 1 in four pillows was soft enough to sleep on. Not a good experience for the money paid at all.
