Pros:

Очень удобное расположение отеля. В 5 миинутатах от основных достопримечальностей старого города. Рядом Босфор с набережной и сзеленью. Примерно процентов 50 персонала могут изъясняться на русском. Очень приятная управляющая отелем.

Cons:

Отель конено старенький, но очень уютый, камерный. Большинство постояльце - семейные пары. Нет шумной молодежи

Niezwykle miła obsługa i piękny taras na dachu.
Pros:

Hotel jest położony w idealnym miejscu pod kątem zwiedzania. Obsługa hotelu była niesamowicie otwarta i pomocna. Śniadanie było na wysokim poziomie. Oprócz tego wielkim atutem hotelu jest taras na dachu. Pięknie urządzony, a przy tym jest z niego znakomity widok.

Ancient Istanbul at a walking distance in an excellent value for money hotel.
Pros:

Katelya Hotel was a little surprise for me. It is located in the heart of the historical area of Istanbul (Sultanahmet) and this obviously add limitations to the rooms of old buildings. Katelya rooms are not big, but comfy and cozy enough for a very pleasant holiday. Also you will be at a walking distance of the main attractions of the city and we used public transportation only a very few times. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is good and the hotel is also close to a number of restaurants where you can enjoy Turkish food. Is you leave Katelya in the Bule Mosque direction, my suggestion is to take a detour to the right side (there is a bazaar there) and you will find nice restaurants. With a value for money like this, Katelya is a no mistake hotel. Thank you!

Small but perfectly formed
Pros:

Location, staff, breakfast, bathroom amenities and bed were all excellent . The rooftop terrace was lovely. For a short stay to see the major sites this is a very good choice. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to the tram. Many of the main attractions are in easy walking distance.

Cons:

The room was too small for us as we were travelling from Australia for a month, there was nowhere to put our suitcases and they took up nearly all the floorspace. It was my only issue with comfort of the hotel. I also didn't like being "bribed" with a future 30% discount to give a 100% review of the hotel. I think it's important for people to know there are size restrictions. Turns out hey have larger rooms for more people in a nearby building.

It definitely needs maintenance. There was sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink, everything is dated and not taken care of. The breakfast isn't good.
