Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor stedentrip
Pros:

De locatie is perfect: zo’n vijfhonderd meter van de grootste bezienswaardigheden en tegelijkertijd in een rustige buurt. De kamers zijn ruim, het bed en de douche fijn en het personeel super aardig en behulpzaam. Er is koffie en thee op de kamer, een tv-scherm, goede wifi, een koelkast, kluis is airco. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed.
Kortom, een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een stedentrip.

Cons:

Het is een detail en niet van invloed op de beoordeling, maar een klein tafeltje of nachtkastje naast het bed zou handig zijn.

Hotel accogliente nel cuore di Sultanahmet
Pros:

Posizione perfetta, a due passi dalle principali attrazioni della città. L'Hotel è di piccole dimensioni, quindi a gestione quasi familiare, con lo staff sempre a disposizione (Yasin TOP) per organizzare al meglio le attività, quando richiesto. La camera non è molto grande, ma normale per una capitale, con buona pulizia e gestione degli spazi. Acqua ogni giorno, bollitore a disposizione, colazione più che buona (più salata che dolce, ma non siamo in Italia!). Consigliato!

Wonderful staff in Sultanahmet
Pros:

If you are going to stay in Sultanahmet, you should give the Katelya Hotel serious consideration. It is located behind the Blue Mosque on a quiet street with sea views. There are two aspects of the Katelya Hotel that stand out. The first is how charming, well-informed and helpful the staff is. We had lots of interactions with Yunus at the front desk and he was unfailingly kind and helpful. He marked up a map of Istanbul and showed us how to get around with the Istanbulkart using the tram and ferries. He booked taxis for us with reputable taxi companies so we weren't scammed by Istanbul's notorious taxi drivers. He recommended good restaurants. We had some complicated logistics getting out to an airport hotel when we were leaving and booking a 5AM taxi the next morning as well. Yunus did a wonderful job helping us with all of this. The rest of the staff is also very hospitable.

The other fun aspect of the Katelya is the breakfast buffet downstairs. There are all sorts of choices from traditional Turkish breakfast to the sorts of food that Americans or Germans would eat at home. We were at the Katelya for a week and we enjoyed breakfast everyday and tried most of the options.

We paid a bit more for a sea view room and thought it was worthwhile.

Hotel je jako lep i ima fenomenalnu terasu sa pogledom na more i Plavu Džamiju. Lokacija je na 2 min hoda od Sultanhamata. Osoblje hotela je jako ljubazno i spremni su da vam izađu u susret na svaki zahtev. Obezbedili su nam parking mesto na ulici ispred hotela.

Buona struttura a Sultanahmet vicina a tutti i principali siti da visitare della città vecchia.
Hotel in zona tranquilla (in termini di sicurezza) senza traffico di auto.
Fermata tram linea T1 a dieci minuti di cammino.
Staff cortese con reception aperta H24 sempre disponibile.
Terrazzo comune molto bello con poltrone e divanetti, piante in vaso ben tenute e ottimo panorama.

Cons:

Colazione abbastanza limitata nell’offerta internazionale, decisamente migliorabile.

Stanza scarsamente manutenuta: sciacquone WC con problemi di flusso d’acqua, lampadina specchiera bagno bruciata, porta bagno impresentabile, canaline cavi elettrici staccate dal muro, arredamento discutibile.
Percezione di ambiente trasandato abbastanza forte.
Con i suddetti limiti, stanza pulita e asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno.
