got a super generous upgrade

room: got upgraded to a suite, super spacious with high ceiling, a dining table, smart tv, a sofa, and a bathroom with rain shower. super clean and comfy. great and creative welcome amenity.

staffs: great front office staff, great initiatives, great manager, great breakfast staffs, all so friendly and helpful.

breakfast: dishes were quite variative and tasty enough, better than ibis but below the average mercure. chocolate and cappucino were great.

parking: super small parking space, better to not bring vehicles while staying here. front side was also being renovated so access was a bit hard.

overall a good 3 star hotel with no swimming pool and super small parking space.

I don’t like only the towel is too old and discoloured( not white) anymore.

I found this great hotel to be really clean, convenient and well attended. Smiling service and an entirely smooth experience. Very well located also. I highly recommend staying here, whether or not your intention is to be largely inside or away from your accomodaiton. .

Stayed here for 1 night only. I got a superior room. It is very compact, although the amenities were all good, although it is standard amenities. The air conditioner is not cold, anyway it is good for me because i didn't like too cold either.

I didn't try the breakfast, the committee which booked ny room made a mistake and order the room without breakfast. Although they correct their mistake later, I already ate my breakfast outside.

This is a good hotel, however I cant believe that Mercure will provide such a budget style hotel. I thought that mercure will provide a decent full service hotel. Anyway. It is ok if only for an overnight stay like me

Nice, clean, located at the center of city, staff are friendly and trustworthy, left my watch in the room when check out but it is safely returned

The hotel is compact, small but high. Checked in was quick at the 2nd floor. My room was small but comfort and clean. There are many restaurants near the hotel. One of the biggest mall in Surabaya is also close enough to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious enoug although there were not too many choices of menu.

I came here for a business trip.
This hotel was still new so I thought I would give it a try.
Upon arrival, I was a little bit surprised by how small the hotel was, and very compact.
My room was big enough, very clean, and with decent amenities. Sleeping here was very comfortable.
Breakfast was lack of variety, the taste of the food was also so-so.
Location was not really at the city center but still close to many decent restaurants/cafes.

Overall, it was a nice stay, but it's not like the Mercure Hotel I usually stayed at.

Nice and clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and supermarket nearby within walking distance. The only issue we have was that they provide drinking water in refiilable pitcher in the rooms.

1. Coridor the way to room is not so bright
2. Towel - thats time to replace
3. No bottle (Aqua?) Set up, seems apply green concept ?

Simple Hotel with not much to offer. Rooms are noisy, aircon seems to be a lucky dip (had to change rooms), no alcoholic drinks, patchy wifi. Hotel is new so rooms are ok. Walls are thin, can hear everything from the neighbour room. Staff is very friendly though and they do what they can to make it right. Considering the price it is fair though but I guess I won’t be back. Sorry!

Thank you for the best service in the first time staycation in here. Always happy with the compliment which give to us like a upgrade room, welcome cake, welcome fruit, afternoon tea, until late check out up to 4pm. Especially thank you to Pak Lucky, Mas Egi, Mas Taufan already prepare well during my staycation with my family. But, i have concern and want to give suggestion about breakfast menu. Kindly need more improvement for the variatif menu. Because i think for the 4 stars hotel, the breakfast should be more variatif and many menu. Not only friedrice, noodle, steam fish, chicken porridge, chicken soto. Should be have menu like chicken or beef maybe. Because not all customer like a fish menu. So more many option and avoid another customer complain with the same case. Beside that, we are very enjoy the breakfast due to the service in the restaurant very good and the staff fast respon. We will always back and choose this hotel for another staycation, holiday and dinner maybe. See you very soon, Mercure Surabaya Manyar!

I was an accor plus platinum member. I just have a terrible experience at mercure manyar. I am a reservation on deluxe suite. As I am entitled to upgrade to executive suite if available. I understand that. Before I check in, the hotel initiate the call to ask me about check in. I asked the receptionist not to forget upgrade my room. The receptionist responded they have already did. However I arrived & enter the hotel room, my room is still deluxe suite. I asked the receptionist who help me carry my baggage why am I not upgraded. He said the room was upgraded from deluxe to deluxe duite. I thought I make a mistake. When I check email reservation I have booked a deluxe suite. When I called the receptionist to explain this upgrade room. They said the executive room is full. My anger is
1) why did you say I have been upgraded to the next level already before i check in???? & you did not do that!!!
2) why did the receptionist say i have booked a deluxe room upgrade to deluxe suite. This is completely unacceptable !!
3) why did you say the executive suite is full, when I demand explanation about the upgrade has been done for me.. But upgrade did not happen!!

Should I complain to accor about this problem? Should platinum be treated this way?? If you were not able to provide upgrade please tell me upfront I understand. But don’t you be unprofessional, unethical, dishonesty treated to your customers!!!

Check-in was a breeze, and the Mercure staff treated me like a special guest, which was a huge honour! , Even when I entered the hotel room, I was surprised to find a festive message on the mattress where I would sleep! (A truly unforgettable experience for me; kudos to the entire staff at Mercure).

As a whole, I have nothing but praise for the staff, who were all exceedingly friendly and accommodating. They do the best job of making me feel special. Hope they remember me and welcome me with the same enthusiasm when I return in the future! (I hope to see you all again, and I wish you all the best).

Superb brand new hotel in the heart of East Surabaya, everything are just perfect, super clean room, warm and cozy, nice business hotel. You can find a lot of local cafe and resto arround hotel. near Gubeng train station and Galaxy Mall. Cons: no swimming pool, simple breaksfast, and very small parking area.
