Great staff. Decided to stay a second night. Amanda was very accommodating.
Too much fragrance pumped into lobby
Great staff. Amanda was SO accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I don’t care for the fragrance pumped in to lobby—too strong
Cleanliness of room!!! Great!
Ac didn’t work in room
One of the cleanest hotels we've been in in a while and the architecture was a beautiful bonus.
In house restaurant had poor service.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. The complimentary cookies and milk was a fun way to experience a St Louis staple and gave us something to look forward to. The room was clean and the water pressure was nice. I appreciated that soap, shampoo and conditioner were in large bottles to avoid plastic waste.
The door to our room was difficult to open and close - the front desk helped us promptly when the door's deadbolt wouldn't retract and left our room open, but it was still a bit of an odd experience. The toilets flush really loud and intensely that you can hear them in adjacent rooms. The room's temperature was tricky to manage. It said our room was 80* but it felt much cooler and we had to adjust the temperature multiple times during the night to feel consistently comfortable.
The uniqueness of the hotel! It was beautiful.
Mainly the staff. Upon arrival we were told our room wasn’t ready. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes (we were told it would only take 10 minutes), we checked in on our room and it still wasn’t ready. But many people were able to go up to their room?? After I was finally asking her again about our room, she had one ready, but offered no apologies and didn’t seem to care at all. I asked if there was something they could do for the inconvenience and we did get breakfast vouchers, but her attitude was absolutely awful. And for such a beautiful hotel, very disappointing. We avoided her our entire trip!
