Couldn't park in ramp had to park on side street with trailer and bike should have some area for bigger vehicles
I thought the bed was comfortable
I thought that the walls look like they needed to be repainted or repaired. It just made it seem dirty.
There had been a big storm the day we arrived and their computers were down do they were doing everything on paper. Difficult times like this show and all thr staff was pleasant. It is a top rate accommodation (includinga better than averagefutness center) in a great location.
There arent much food and drink at the location-- you need to walk 2-3 blocks. Wasn't a problem for us but I could see this being an issue if weather was a problem.
It was a historic slice of downtown. For people like me who like walking everywhere, it was a good location.
Many of the homeless and other loud behavior was happening near by. Of course the hotel can’t do anything about that, and it’s sad that it exists so close there, but be forewarned that’s the kind of atmosphere that is around the hotel.
The cleaning staff did not restock the body wash during our stay, and it ran out the first day we were there (we booked for 2 nights).
Accounting thinks it completely normal to charge the whole amount per day of the stay every single day of our stay, meaning by the end of our two night stay we had 3 separate charges showing up on our account, none cancelled, until the actually cancellation some days later. A security deposit is a given, especially in such a gorgeous place. But that seems a bit extreme to me.
Unfortunately would not recommend this hotel. Service here is beyond poor. Overwhelmed front desk staff at checkin, no recognition for Marriott loyalty and lack of follow up from management afterwards. Offered breakfast but beware the complimentary breakfast does NOT include any beverages, no coffee included with complimentary breakfast??? That’s unacceptable and further unacceptable to be passed a bill for $6 coffee afterwards when not told it wasn’t included. Beware, complimentary breakfast coupon specifically states includes gratuity but the waiter tells you that wrong and outdated and please leave an additional tip on the complimentary breakfast. Unique and clever hustle. Dinner in the restaurant was very sub par as well. The menu description was completely wrong for the brown sugar pork chop and what we got was instead a small overcooked chop with just cold barbecue sauce poured over the top. Waitress just shrugged her shoulders and didn’t offer to replace it. Overall very sad experience here. As a loyal lifetime titanium member would recommend staying at a different hotel in downtown St. Louis. The location here is good, perhaps the only positive feedback, yet poor service, dirty outdated room and poor quality food in restaurants along with service staff hustling you for a double tip left us with a poor impression.
Me and some of my friends were visiting saint louis for a national youth conference. Our rooms were so clean and the housekeeping always restocked when we needed it. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. More specifically, Amanda was AMAZING!! She always had a smile on her face and helped us with whatever questions we had. She even made sure that we got our cookies at the end of every night we were there! Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay at along with Amanda being the best front desk attendant we could have asked for!!!
This hotel was so comforting and we had an amazing woman at front desk Amanda who made sure my team and I always got our cookies!!
Lovely hotel. Spacious, comfortable room. Personable staff. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday with ballgames and sightseeing. Hotel is very convenient to stadium - a short walk. Only complaint is that the wi-fi was very spotty, maybe because we were on the 14th floor. We chose to self park, the garage was a block or so away, but cheaper than valet. Overall, a really nice place to stay.
Hotel is great. Really enjoyed our dinner. Sergio is professional and friendly.
The building is BEAUTIFUL. The concierges are AMAZING 😍
There wasn't anything I didn't like!
I enjoyed the valet parking. I was very tired and it was convenient having a restaurant in the facility. I was pleased with everything.
Breakfast was wonderful. Great menu and wonderful service
Would have been nice if they had vending machines or a small area to buy soda or snacks
