Arrived in the evening and was greeted by a very nice man who checked me in. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through
Prima stop op de Route 66. Goede douche. Dichtbij het Route 66 museum.

Unfortunately front counter allowed someone to cancel my prepaid none refundable reservation. Found out upon arrival. Fortunately there were rooms available. Re-register and pay again.

The staff was very nice, and I was surprised at how easy the online check-in process was. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Didn't have time to use the gym, but it looked like it had a good mix of equipment. Breakfast was good, too!
This will solve itself after the highway construction is completed, but it was a little tricky to get to!
The bed was comfortable. My husband says the shower is good, lots of hot water. Bedroom was clean. No bed bugs...we think.
When we walked into the room the ceiling fan was on full blast and the room smelled like cigarettes and syrup. Weird combination. We got in so late the night before I wasn't going to complain. I just needed sleep. I had a can of Izone spray, thankfully, and it did eliminate the cigarette smell eventually. The syrup smell lingers even today.. The water smells like bleach. Yikes, my sense of smell has never been attacked like this!
The fan was crazy noisy all night long, gurgling and pinging. I read this hotel had a 8+ rating and thought it would be good and at $80 a night, a good value. It was not. We also got to listen to all of the trucks on the freeway all night which can be heard, I assume, on only one side of the hotel. But due to the air-conditioning when it was on we couldn't hear the freeway that well. We also read this place had breakfast. We got instant coffee, Hostess mini powdered donuts in a package for breakfast. So not what I expected. I hate giving bad reviews but this is for you. It is not a bad place but it advertises as being better than it is, I think.
Condition of the property
Location was bad. Exterior was dirty and run down. Room was dark and depressing. Grounds need attention.
