Mooi gelegen hotel met schitterend uitzicht en vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Dit hotel heeft als enige in Gerolstein een (heel fijn) binnenzwembad. Het hotel is rustig gelegen met prachtig uitzicht, ook vanuit het zwembad. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, geen moeite is te veel. Er komt tzt ook een buitenbad, helemaal fijn!

Cons:

Dineren in het hotel is prima en de bediening zeer vriendelijk. Echter, we kozen voor de ‘huisgemaakte apfelstrudel’ als dessert. Deze viel tegen en was deels niet gaar. Alleen het vanille-ijsbolletje ernaast was lekker. Uit coulance kregen we de koffie gratis, een wat mager aanbod. Verder hebben de kamers geen airco, al was de temperatuur daar in de warme zomermaand augustus niet onprettig. Er komt tzt wel airco, werd verteld.

Rewelacja, piękna okolica, świetny hotel.
Pros:

Czysto, miła obsługa, śniadania rewelacja codziennie świeże pieczywo, jajecznica robiona na świeżo i smoothie, piękna okolica widok z okna na jezioro w okolicy góry i tereny Natura 2000. Polecam ja na pewno wrócę.

Cons:

Mało miejsca na parkingu. Czasem jak wróciłem późno to musiałem kombinować.

Pros:

Die Lage war super zum Entspannen. Wir waren 5 Tage dort. Haben alles an Wellness genutzt. Das morgendliche Schwimmen vor dem Frühstück war eine herrliche Erfrischung. Hier kann man wunderbar „runterkommen“ !

Ontzettend ontspannen, dé manier om je op te laden.
Pros:

Het hotel is eigenlijk een goed bewaard geheim, zo buiten het dorp Gerolstein, op een groene heuvel. De spa is een heerlijk aanbod en dat geldt ook voor de mooie rustige tuin. Het uitzicht verveelt ook na dagen niet. Een uitstekende stek om wandelingen te beginnen (of af te sluiten). Het hotel is een ideaal oord voor rustzoekers die de extra's van een spa willen. Ontspannen en goed verzorgd ontbijtbuffet. Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Fijne extra's als badjas en grote handdoeken op de kamer.

Cons:

Misschien zou de tuin een opkikker kunnen gebruiken, met bloemen.

Het ontbijt en het eten was zeer goed! Heel vers!

Cons:

Bij warm weer was er geen goede afscherming tegen de zon. De vloer in de kamers en gangen was verouderd. Laminaat zou beter zijn!

The room was quite small and located on the first floor, facing the parking lot and directly above a street-side coffee shop, which made it less appealing and somewhat noisy and no Air Codnitioning in it and limited in Aminities.

The breakfast was good, but nothing particularly special or memorable. one restaurant only is available and i dont thing that should be a 4 stars hotel.

The spa facilities were satisfactory; however, it only opened at 1:00 PM, which was somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, the hotel does not have a gym, which I found surprising for a property of this standard.

Cons:

The overall customer service experience was disappointing. A few days before our arrival, we requested to cancel one of the reservations because the booking had somehow been made twice through two different accounts. This was unusual and was only discovered upon our arrival at the hotel.

I discussed the matter with the duty manager, but our request for cancellation and a refund was initially rejected. After a lengthy discussion, the hotel offered a €100 restaurant voucher instead of refunding the €911 booking amount, which I did not consider a reasonable solution. Following further discussions, they offered a two-night stay voucher, but only on the condition that we book and pay for an additional two nights during a future stay. I found this proposal unreasonable and not an acceptable resolution to what was clearly an administrative booking issue.

Unfortunately, the manager was not particularly helpful or accommodating throughout the process, which further added to our dissatisfaction with the overall experience.
