Gumaya Tower Hotel Semarang

Love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices.

Mr. Arif have the best welcome and services, He serve the Screwdriver and Caipiroska in balance composition, get the taste of Vodka as we wish, but if can add more on vodka I believe the taste will be better... Keep the good job Mr. Arif.. Hope to see you on next visit.. And served by You...

Had a really comfortable stay at Gumaya Tower Hotel. Great location in the heart of Semarang, easy to get around. The room was clean and spacious with a nice city view. Staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and breakfast had a good variety. Definitely a great choice for a five-star stay in Semarang.

Thankyouuuu Gumaya for the service. The ambience was a 10/10. What a delicious meal. The room was also big. And the toilet, room was super clean.

Well equipped amazing experience stay at my business trip to Indonesia. All amenities including rooms, restaurant, gym & pool well maintained. I stayed more than a week at property and it’s really well stay for my business trip.

I had a great experience staying at Gumaya Tower Hotel. The ambience is warm and welcoming, and the staff’s hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast was excellent, especially with the Semarang food set menu that gave a taste of local flavor. The hotel also offers impressive facilities, a well-equipped gym and even a golf simulation! which was such a pleasant surprise.

Overall, a perfect choice for both business and leisure in Semarang. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Gumaya Tower when we visited Semarang for my girlfriend’s birthday. It is one of the best hotels in Semarang and the staff and the amenities que simply fantastic. I want to give a special thank you to Vita who organised a great surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday, great service can highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Cleanliness is excellent and the skyline restaurant is great- affordable and the food is awesome. Highly recommended indeed.

We stayed here for 2 nights. After that we move to another hotel that we usually stay. My husband suddenly remember that he left his pants there. We come back, they said they found it and has keep it. We are quite disappointed that they didn’t inform us earlier but rather, they chose to keep it and wait for us. How about if we have gone back to our city??

However aside from that, we enjoy the stay with executive lounge.

My recommendation for the breakfast food to make it more variety as many of the foods are fried rather than a healthier choice.

I had an unfortunate experience during my long stay here. After returning from work, I was unable to access my room. I visited the reception to have my room key card reset, but it still did not work. From my floor, I contacted the reception again and was asked to reset the card once more. Understandably, I declined and requested that the front office team assist in opening my room. Unfortunately, they were still unable to do so. A technician was then called, who determined that the battery in the room's door lock had run out. Once the room was finally opened, I noticed that it had not been cleaned, and the laundry had not been collected, with various reasons provided for these oversights. Such an issue would not have occurred if the management had provided clear instructions to their team to conduct regular maintenance, which would have prevented the battery from running out. As a long-stay guest, I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by this hotel.

One of the best hotel in Central Semarang. Very strategic location, Gajahmada st. Nothing to be worried for food - there are a lot, A LOT of restaurants near this hotel. The hospitality, really amusing. Really helpful. The facilities consists of gym and swimming pool. IMO, the gym has a variety of machines. They also have golf simulator, however it is only open to golfer (amateur can't enter). The room itself, absolute clean. The hotel can maintain the room carpets (usually other hotels can't) . They have coffee machine in your room. You can refill your drink as like as you can. Definitely will re-book this hotel.

Value for the price, stay near the city center of Semarang, fantastic location, spacious rooms, very luxurious lobby area, clean place, delicious breakfast, clean water and water heater working well. Thank you Novi for the treatment during my stay. I will be back with my fams

This is not my first time to visit Semarang but it’s my first time to stay at Gumaya. I stay two night here.
The hotel is clean, the room is comfort, the staffs are friendly. This hotel location us near from many tourist attraction but not in noisy location so you can take a rest peafully here.
The breakfast is wonderful. All food taste great and they have abbundance choice of food from traditional local food to international food. They suprised me with birthday cake, while i didn’t remember it was my birthday.
I had to mention mbak Sasha to thank her for her hospitality during my stay.
I definitely will stay in Gumaya again on my next trip to Semarang

Great hotel with great staffs, serving F&B in four different location, proper parking access and spaces, it was kid's friendly place including Kids Club, sufficient health related services such as fitness centre and swimming pool, followed up by Guest Relations - Sasa - whom was also kind (disclaimer: personal opinion)

This is my second time staying here, and overall, it's been a pleasant experience. The service is good, the room is spacious and clean. However, the breakfast area was quite crowded, probably because it’s the start of the year and school holidays. Also, the basement parking entrance is a bit tight for MPVs. The staff is very friendly, especially Mbak Sasha, who was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

GRO Novi and the restaurant Waitress really helped me and my family during our stay. At breakfast I was escorted by Ms Novi to find a seat, because the restaurant was quite busy. Explanation of the available menus. I feel like staying in my own home.

Lovely hotel, always use the Gumuya Tower when staying in Semerang, good location, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, gym and a pool. If you can get an upgrade to the executive floor you can use the facilities on floor 16 & 17 for free.
