Supposed to have 24 hr front desk, it DID NOT it was closed when I got there late at night.
So I did not stay there.
Worst experience. Ac deluxe room with full of mosquito. Not cleaned. Dirty linen.
The hotel is located very strategically. This is a strict no nonsense budget hotel. THERE IS NO WI-FI AVAILABLE. Room service doesnt bother unless you ask. If you are staying in an AC Room, they turn off the AC during early morning hours and then dont turn it on, unless you ask. The phone in rooms doesnt work, and you have to go down for everything you need. Overall, for a very, very tight-budget trip, this hotel would be OK. If you can afford a bit more, please look elsewhere.
Terrible in all aspects. No safety and security for customer or the vehicle
I paid in full for 3 nights through Expedia and arrived to the hotel late around 12.30am. The staff who were working there confirmed that they had my booking details but proceeded to call the owner. The owner spoke to me over the phone in a rather strong and unprofessional tone telling me I had to pay in cash because he has nothing to do with Expedia. I told him I had already paid in full for the booking and that due to the cash problems in India I could not get hold of cash. He told me I had to pay and could pay in the morning. The next day the owner was there in person and told me aggressively that Expedia are bad company and he has nothing to do with them now and I have to pay him. I argued with him that he cannot demand I pay twice especially considering Expedia sent the booking confirmation through to the hotel and my credit card was charged. He was rude and persistent and I threatened to speak to the local police. At this point he backed down and waved me out of the hotel. I was able to continue my stay without paying twice but felt very uncomfortable. The hotel itself is very basic and you get exactly what you pay for. Wifi only works in the reception area and normally you have to ask them to turn it on. The two hotel employees were very nice and helpful although spoke little English. There are a ton of similar hotels around this area for 300/400 rupee per night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel even for the hardened budget traveller.
Hotel is horrible in terms of cleanliness, locality, people around etc.
Wifi is available only at lobby, that too on request repeatedly.
The owners switches off the AC repeatedly.
No hot water for bath.
Even the towels and soaps are on demand only.
Area is not safe at all.
If you budget is not more that $10 (Rs.600) go for it. Else definitely not recommendable.
The guys that work here are the bread and butter of this hotel. The location is not near assuring special, not good for walking, and difficult to explain to taxis where it is. The rooms are in a poor state. However, if there things don't bother you, then the price is what makes it a winner.
I should point out in fairness some inconsistencies between the room details listed on the site and what i experienced. I should also note that i didn't complain about these things because I don't personally care, but others might. The room details said there would be a coffee/tea maker, free toiletries (small bar of soap) and free bottled water, my room did not have this.
I did not have at unpleasant encounters with the staff, nor did I see any bugs or cockroaches in the room.
I had a very good stay there, only the problem was if you want to connect to wifi you have to go to the lobby
It is ok for just one night stay. Not good locality.
Very dirty hotel with very bad services.
1. Not even a blanket provided for AC room.
2. Very bad reception & receptionist.
3. Water leakage everywhere.
4. old & noisy AirCon.
5. Very badly maintained toilet.
Checked out in 30min. Because bad service.
I find not so value for money...and bathrooms is too congested to stand and use the utilities in there.
Wifi was the only complimentary available which didn't work at all..
This is not my first hotel review but it is my first negative one. This is a hotel to avoid. The bathroom looks as if it has not been cleaned properly for several years, the bedroom was dirty, the sheets torn and under the bed was an accumulation of dust and waste, including an empty coke bottle and a bag of rubbish. The room I paid for was a family room, but the hotel only has triples. After some haggling I got a mattress for the fourth person (me) which gave me a bird's eye view of the under-bed debris. The view from the room looks over a vacant site that is now a local dump. You can get a very good hotel in Chennai for the same price. Avoid.
Friendly and kindly staff. But room was tiny and Miskito. I never stay this hotel.
Nice pleasant stay :)
