YMCA International House

Receptionen vidste ikke vi havde booket værelse og var uvillige til at hjælpe.
Værelset var snavset og madrasserne gamle og snavsede. Der blev ikke gjort rent de 3 dage vi var der.

Front desk staff & housekeeping staff excellent . Walkable market , restaurants , coffee shop , M G Road for shopping / Dinning , Marina Drive ( You can use Tuk Tuk @Rs.30 or 40 to get to beach.) This YMCA is a bit far from airport. Taxi may charge Rs.500 to 600 depending on time you arrive at airport. Executive Rooms are very neat & clean. No idea of other rooms. There is Restaurant inside YMCA ( not run by YMCA ) provide complementary breakfast but lunch & dinner we need to pay. Complementary Breakfast not much choices and cold stuff -not even warm. So I am here giving just four star. Veg lunch with variety of dishes cost Rs.80 which is nice but food is not even warm enough. Restaurant Staff are staring at your plate what you take , how much you eat etc. I did not have my break fast or lunch or dinner there. I had gone to closed by restaurant. Though the break fast is complementary. YMCA did not give me any discount for not having such kind of break fast. Their thinking is wether we like or not their break fast , they do not consider any discount on that. Ymca should discuss with the contractor who runs the restaurant & improve the quality and variety. People around are very good speak Malayalam, Hindi , English. Ernakulam Railway station & Maharaja college & Maharaja college metro station just walkable distance . Overall, it is very nice place to stay in Ernakulam, Kochi.

Front Desk staff , housekeeping staff , Dinning Hall staff very welcoming with great smile and very courteous knows well how to make guest happy . It is close to main market M G Road and also Marina Drive beach . The Executive Room I stay was very neat & clean with air conditioning. I wanted to meton names of staff but due to policy can not do so. I Will stay again here when I go to Ernakulam again. Thank you all for excellent welcome & comfortable stay.

The lady at the reception was very rude, she would not even check my booking but put in a room with no AC even though I had AC room booked. No manners she had while talking to customers.
I had to come back and ask them to check my booking and then they changed my room.
Wish I had booked some other hotel.

I have booked for 4 adults AC room and they allotted me a small non-ac double bed room. I had to pay extra for bed.
They told us there is no information from hotel.com, they just booked a room only

Nothing fascinating. Regular rooms with Ac and TV.Basic items like water and towels have to be asked for ie the administrative staff needs a wake up call. Sincerity of purpose seems to be missing. Notwithstanding, it was a good stay for the price paid.

Not good.As hotel staff is aware about Online Booking conditions.

Good hotel.morning breakfast was good.
Rooms were clean.near to bus stand.near to marine drive.

Requires more maintenance on facilities. It will be better if food facilities is upgraded
