First of all, DO NOT TRUST THE ADDRESS ON EXPEDIA. Use Google Maps for the correct address. We got lost late at night due to this error. When mentioned this to the staff, they did not seem to care that much.
The location is good. There are lots of shopping and dining options around within a 10-minute walking range. However, the property itself has multiple issues. Our room was windowless and there was only a small window in the bathroom with a sign "Do not open!". The first morning when we woke up, we found the bathroom full of mosquitoes. Apparently, the window had issues and they could not close it completely. When I informed the staff, they taped around it which kind of solved most of the issue.
The furniture was very old and had multiple stains on them. I did not feel good putting my clothes inside their closet. The safe was so small that I could not fit my 13-inch laptop and had to carry it around the city with me. The beds were uncomfortable. If the other person on the bed moved only a little bit, you could not sleep at all. We were three people and they offered a very small unstable bed for the third person which was placed right outside of the entrance of the bathroom.
On the last night of our stay, around 2 AM, another room on our floor started to fight and they were shouting and screaming for almost an hour. I had to call the front desk three times before they finally decided to give them a warning.
Overall, I would not stay at this place again.

Pros:

The property is within easy walking distance to good shopping centres and not far from a range of transport options. The room was windowless, the air-conditioning worked well, the price was competitive, and the staff were helpful. Nothing was exceptional or fancy, but it was comfortable.

Good location for MRT.
Pros:

Considering the location, room price is fair enough. 5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT Station. You can choose breakfast from the menu. 
Just one thing, the hotel is beside the main road so you can hear the sound of the cars. If this is a problem for sleeping, I recommend to prepair Earplugs.
