Sehr schöne Lage am See, Restaurant, Schwimmbad, Fitnessbereich vorhanden
Wartung und Service könnten verbessert werden
Beach was nice. View from balcony was great - peaceful and quiet place. Staff were friendly, and room was clean!
Lot's of stairs up to our room - with lots of stuff, it was not super great for one night.
Had issues with the AC - was freezing when we arrived, but then it wouldn't go on again and felt very warm. Likely just user error though.
Great beach
51 steps to our room
Excellent staff and the food at the Forest Restaurant was very good.
Great location water activities for kids.
Property needs an update, cleaning windows exterior. Leaking taps exterior porch lights not working , and the pancake machine needs to be replaced. Staff kept wasting there time always fixing it. I thought an automatic pancake maker that’s new and works. Would save staff a lot of time.
The lake location is lovely
Noise - no sleep due to noisy families / corridors used as play grounds. The people above us were up all night. Drinks on balconies until the early hours of the morning. No entertainment. Bedding ropey. No cosy bar area for adults. The beach snack bar didn’t have anything gluten free. The staff tried hard with gluten free but the wait staff need to communicate to the chef. Monday break staffing was lacking, people helping themselves to breakfast which isn’t good for allergies. Not enough shade/brollies on beach. Expensive for what we got. Sadly the setting is lovely but the rest needs work. Lots of door slamming and fire doors being propped open. Staff were lovely and tried to sort the night noise issue out but unfortunately in the three nights we were there we got zero sleep.
Beautiful Resort with very nice staff. Amazing view from the balcony and the beach it self. The Resturant is a plus. Very good breakfast and very organized. I love it I will come back and offer it to my family and friends as well. Thank you 🙏
Quiet location with a nice beach on the water, great view from the balcony, updated room with good AC, pleasant staff, ok breakfast that could be improved by small tweaks (I supplemented with my own berries, Greek yoghurt and sourdough bread).
I’ve been coming here for 4 years to paddle
I liked everything
This is our second time at the resort. I like that it is located close to Killbear Provincial Park and also has a nice beach on a beautiful like. It provides kayaks and a canoe. We used kayaks last time. The lake is very nice. Great for swimming and water sports. What I like the most is the food at the hotel. The breakfast is the best. Plenty if hot options and never crowded. They also have a very nice restaurant. Pickerel dinner was outstanding. The place is clean. Beds were comfortable.
Both times we stayed in one of the 2-story buildings. The rooms are outdated. The faucet was leaking, the bathroom door would not close. Bathroom needs renovation badly.
The bed was comfortable.
Floor under the bed was dirty - hasn't been cleaned in a very long time by the looks of it.
Wall was scratched and missing paint - blue wall and paint was missing so large white areas
Couch and chair cushions were ripped
Had to book a time for breakfast - even though they say it is between 8-11 you have to book a dedicated time
Bathroom fan did not work
No glassware for drinks - ice bucket available but no glasses to put the ice in
Fireplace gas turned off and not working - website does not indicate this - paid extra for a king room with fireplace
Front desk does not answer calls - multiple calls and emails went unanswered during the stay - an no one available at the desk when you go in
Front desk staff unfriendly
Based on our stay, we would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made to both the facilities and customer service.
The view outside of the lake is beautiful. That’s where it ends. Beach is full of geese and poop. The deluxe room was recently renovated, and it was ok except for the broken window that doesn’t close. Outside of the room is dated, dirty, and old. The highlight was canoeing around the lake. There is a shortage of employees. We cut our stay short, and wouldn’t stay here again.
