Loved the location and the gym/pool
Large and roomy apartment
Tea and coffee station was piss poor, carpet smelt like it was wet, there was a few cockroach’s in the apartment and mould in the bath area.
We only liked 2 things about this particular 1 bedroom apartment - it was well located and clean. The common pool area however, was very nice with a great view out to Magnetic Island.
The apartment itself was TOTALLY soulless. There was no personality or warmth about the place at all. It was minimally furnished with no artwork, no ornaments or any extra furniture or pieces to give the place some atmosphere. Because it was so sparsely furnished it was like an echo chamber and the noise bounced off the walls, particularly when the TV was on. No internet was provided which was most bizarre in this day and age. We stayed for 10 days and were only provided with a roll of toilet paper, a couple of sachets of laundry powder, dishwashing liquid and a hotel size soap bar. The landlord who owns this place is so tight they had even cut the dishwashing sponge in HALF!!! I mean, seriously! We had to go to the shops to buy all the basics - toilet paper, laundry liquid, washing up detergent, dishwasher tablets, sponges, soap, toilet cleaner, and as there were no cooking basics we also had to provide our own salt, pepper, oil, cling wrap etc. All places we have rented in the past, in Aus and around the world have always provided these essential and basic items. To say I was annoyed that we had to provide all of these products ourselves is an understatement. In the bedroom, a built in wardrobe was provided, but there was only one high shelf and some hanging space. The wardrobes lacked adequate reachable shelving to unpack 10 days worth of clothes, which I found frustrating. The fans throughout the apartment did not work well. They had 2 settings -Cyclonic level or just barely spinning. Again, frustrating, as we didn’t always wanted to use the aircon, but wanted to have some air movement throughout the apartment. Be warned if you have a large SUV you will find parking quite tricky and very squeezy. Overall, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with this property and would NEVER choose to stay in this apartment again.
It was clean
No internet, had to drive up 7 car parks to get to our car park just to go in the elevator to level 8 then walk across the pool area through doors to get to another elevator just to go down to level 2

Positives Size and Location of apartments.
Tired , dirty , with lots of friendly cockroaches. Didn’t see anyone from receiption as don’t work weekends. The walk from the car park to apartment block could do with better signage .
Great location for the activities we had planned. Clean and quiet despite city location. Facilities were we maintained. My limited interactions with staff were very professional

The manager was extremely judgmental and rude. My husband has a medical condition and he judged his character based on his terminal illness. I would never stay here

It was in a great location. Walking distance to great restaurants, cafe, entertainment.
The beds are very comfortable and the apartment was huge. Plenty of space for everyone. Great swimming pool.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
No extra linen, as in blankets or pillows were provided.
Unfortunately It wasn’t the most cleanest apartment.. You can see dust on the floors and dining chairs and the kitchen bench wasn’t cleaned.
Also one of the lifts were out of order, which left one for everyone to use. In saying that, the wait for the lift wasn’t long.

Close & convenient to everything
Everything was good can’t fault anything
Location to everything was great. Close to Palmer Street and The Ville. Loved being close to the strand and castle hill and Woolworths is literally 7 min walk from the accommodations. Kitchen had lots of plates and cutlery. The washing machine and dryer was very handy. The pool was very nice and refreshing to swim in. The apartment itself was nice and spacious for everyone to enjoy. The cupboard space and hangers were good to have in the rooms, made unpacking easy. Watching the sunrises in the morning was great to view as our balcony overlooked the strand and beyond. It was very pretty 😍🌅
There were a few things broken inside the apartment. Curtains were broken. The main bedroom, the bed slats were broken on one side of the bed. The tap in the ensuite was broken, so when you wash your hands, the whole tap would come off and the shower floor, like the sides had a little bit of mould & dirt coming off. The ironing board was broken. The couch had stains on it too.
