Desert Pearl Inn

DP is our favorite hotel in a choice location just west of the center of Springdale, so walking distance from many restaurants. We crave quiet plus the water, so much like the units that are along the river away from the road and pool. They are renovating the units near the road/pool, so suspect some updating will be nice when done. Rooms are quiet, and upper rooms have soaring ceilings. Would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly. The location was great.

We have been to Zion a few times, this was the first time staying at the Desert Pearl Inn. By far the best, we liked it better than the Cliffrose. Desert Pearl had better rooms, larger, cleaner, better beds and better heating. Staff is very friendly and professional.

We stayed here for Christmas in Zion. The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. The kitchenette was immensely helpful to us. We also love the deck where we have a private view of the mountains and river. The service was awesome too, they even cleaned our dishes and left Christmas Truffles! The restaurant next to the pool, Camp Outpost, is really good as well! would definitely come back and I recommend people visiting Zion to stay here!

We had to book a room last minute on our way back to LA from Salt Lake City on Dec 25th, and upon our arrival I could not have been more pleasantly surprised of my decision to have picked this place!
The hotel looked more like a ski resort with cozy cabins and the views it had to offer from each room were just breathtaking, specially with the sound of the Virgin river running along the entire property added to the magic of this place.
The rooms were very clean with every amenities one would need for a comfortable stay.
The front desk staff were the warmest and friendliest I have recently encountered, catering to our every need as well as giving us useful advice on activities and places to eat and visit.

Definitely will be back!

My wife and I stayed here during a visit to the area the first week of October '25. Everyone from the front desk staff to the maintenance staff to the cleaning crews were super focused on customer service. We have never experienced this kind of service and room cleanliness anywhere we have stayed together or when I was traveling during my working career. Top notch people and facility and I would highly recommend staying here while exploring the area.

Staff members were very friendly throughout our stay. Room service was excellent with reliable and complete room cleaning daily. The view of the river and mountains was placid and a highlight of each day. Winter pricing was excellent compared to not only the summer pricing but also was a value when compared to similar hotels in Springdale. Noise level from current on site construction was not an issue. We have stayed at Desert Pearl Inn many times in the last several years and plan to return here next year. We have also stayed at a handful of other places in Springdale in the past and prefer Desert Pearl Inn.

Desert Pearl is one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed at. Check in was friendly and easy. The room smelled very clean and even had a seal on the door, guaranteeing no one had entered since housekeeping left.

We had an upstairs river suite. The room layout and outfitting were stellar. The dark sky nights and 24/7 soothing river soundtrack, plus daytime mountain scene, are memories I will have forever.

The pool was great and there was onsite ice/laundry to make life a little easier on the road.

We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!!

I could not be happier staying at the Desert Pearl Creek Side room. I've been visiting here for the past decade and LOVE it. The team checking me in were great and very helpful. It entire visit was just magical.

I hesitate to recommend this hotel because I am afraid that it will become too popular but suffice it to say that of all of the hotels that I have stayed in, and I have stayed all over this country and Europe, this remains our absolute favorite. The rooms are always immaculate, the setting is gorgeous and having a small kitchenette , modern and always spotlessly clean, is a bonus. The bed and pillows are fantastic and the bathroom is large and well appointed. The pool and hot tub areas are always well cared for. The location in Springdale is perfect, walking distance to everything. The staff is always kind and very helpful. Sitting on the pretty deck, looking out at the red rock and beautiful trees, it truly feels like paradise. Cannot recommend highly enough if you are visiting Zion National Park.

I’ve stayed here many times but this will be my last…. When I came back from hiking I went to get something out of my bag which I had hidden in the closet cabinet only to discover that my bag had been disturbed. First of all they put it back completely incorrectly and I have never closed that bag that way in its life. You bent it in a way I would absolutely never was extremely obvious it was not even close to being that way when I put it in there. Bottom line is : you didn’t have any right to touch it in the first place. You do not need to clean inside of cabinets in a closet at all during my stay. I am literally outraged and now wondering if my credit card information and address was compromised or something why else would someone be going through my purse that way especially when it was intentionally not out and literally hidden. Tell your staff to keep their hands off of peoples private property inside of their rooms. I will be locking my belongings in my car and taking them with me from now on after this. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. This is going to be documented with my local police and with my private investigator. I do not appreciate this at all. It’s not safe and creeped me out. If you stay here hide your purse someone here obviously is snooping in others things.

Recommend this place if you are staying in Springdale. The location is in the center of the city and is right on the bus line to take you to the entrance of Zion if you don’t want to drive in. It’s a motel type resort which has only two floors and each unit has a nice deck or balcony. Plenty of them overlook the river and have nice views. Rooms are large and spacious.

We stayed here on the recommendation of two friends and were not disappointed. Our room was large and clean and supplied with everything we needed for a three night stay - coffee pot, robes, small refrigerator, microwave, plates, mugs, glasses and silverware. All made it easy to eat in if you chose, We asked for and received a river view room. The covered balcony was perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Fresh coffee and hot chocolate were also available in the lobby. An e-bike shop was located on the property which made it easy to rent bikes to tour Zion or the town. The e-bike shop also gives Desert Pearl Inn guests a discount on rentals. The front desk staff of the hotel was very helpful and loaned us walking sticks for a long hike in the park one afternoon. The location is great - easy to access the Springdale shuttle and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. My husband and I decided if we ever come back to Springdale we will only stay at the Desert Pearl in, it was that good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Desert Pearl Inn. The staff was so kind and helpful with our stay and actually exceeded our expectations in accommodating us. The room was immaculate and clean and the attention to every detail was beyond compare. We will definitely stay there again and will happily share the word about this wonderful gem in Springdale!

The Desert Pearl Inn met all of our expectations and then some. VERY convenient location for our Zion adventure with shuttle service right in front of location and a short walk to the many shops and restaurants Springdale has to offer. Perfect! Rooms were clean, very spacious and with key kitchen amenities, each room offering a different view of the outstanding landscape. Bed and bedding was exceptional and the combination of their outdoor pool and hot tub worked wonders on our hips and knees after our hikes. Many thanks to previous Tripadvisor reviews for assistance in our choice of lodging, spot on.

The Desert Pearl Inn is wonderful! I can't say enough positive things about our River's Edge Suite! It was very clean, roomy, and quite comfortable. This hotel is exceptionally well maintained and the room was so clean! My thanks to the cleaning staff! The view from our deck overlooked the Virgin River. There were only two of us, but the suite would have been great for a family of 3 or 4. It had a wonderful king suite with its own bath, plus the pull-out sofa and another bathroom for additional travelers. We chose this room because of it's kitchen and cooktop which was really nice in order to cook breakfast. The hotel is close enough to Zion's entrance to walk or bike safely. I also liked that I had access to laundry facilities, which were clean with up to date washers/dryers. The Desert Pearl was a great choice!

It was my husband and my first time to Springdale/Zion National Park and the Desert Pearl Inn was the Perfect place to stay for us! We stayed in a second floor, river facing King premium room that was very well designed, comfortable and appointed. It is centrally located and less than a mile walk to the entrance of Zion. I highly recommend staying here.

The Desert Pearl Inn is perfectly located in town to be able to walk to the park entrance if desired as well as all the best local restaurants and coffee shops. What really impressed me was the staff and the attention to every detail! Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful PLUS the staff was busy from sun up to sun down making sure that every room was perfectly cleaned and every inch of the grounds and pool were pristine! I would highly recommend the Desert Pearl as the place the stay when visiting Zion!

Perfect property and staff from check in through check out. Engaged and helpful staff, immaculately clean, property is beautifully cared for, the rooms are very large and interestingly furnished with quality linens. And the back patio facing the river is spectacular! Well done, Desert Pearl!

The location is great, views spectacular & a nice looking pool. We stayed based on a friends recommendation but if I were to go to Zion again I would look for something more reasonable in price. The shuttle to Zion stops right in front which is a nice perk.
